RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - Varstahl - 2020-05-01

[Amazon VOD] Error reason: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='na.api.amazonvideo.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /cdp/usage/v2/GetAppStartupConfig?deviceTypeID=A28RQHJKHM2A2W&deviceID=1403a26346c8e320491e942a45560443651291b863c9c2ebeab79e45&firmware=1&version=1&format=json (Caused by SSLError(SSLError(1, u'[SSL] internal error (_ssl.c:727)'),)) (SSLError)

That is strange, it's a general SSL error. It might be caused by 29851fc.

Edit, 20/20 hindsight: I really need to have a tool to scan these logs before I answer…

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I  cleaned my kodi from everything blacklisted. Not a bad idea. In the past years my installation got really bloated..
And I made the same log again: https://pastebin.pl/view/216ac339
Hopefully I removed all necessary addons.

So I think Varstahl opened a new issue. Is there anything I need to do now?
Except hoping that a new update could fix my problem?

RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - Varstahl - 2020-05-01

@ninjafuchs you might want to read this comment and the linked ones, and see if that fixes things. We might have been too optimistic about the TLS1 ordeal.

RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - DarrenHill - 2020-05-01

@ninjafuchs - you've missed a couple:

Code:
2020-05-01 19:07:14.745 T:139978640199616  NOTICE: ADDON: repository.skymashitv v0.3 installed
2020-05-01 19:07:14.745 T:139978640199616  NOTICE: ADDON: script.video.F4mProxy v2.8.8 installed

The latter you'll probably have to remove manually by deleting it's folder from /home/kodi/.kodi/addons whilst Kodi is not running.

RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - ninjafuchs - 2020-05-01

Unfortunatly this doesnt help.
But I have to admit, that in my openssl.cnf. There where no
[system_default_sect]
MinProtocol = TLSv1.2
CipherString = [email protected]=2

Not even the section exists within that file. I added it. I also tried to set MinProtocol to v1.0
But thats just guessing. I really dont know what I am doing here.

I also removed the folder for DarrenHill. Hope my log is now nice and clean: https://pastebin.pl/view/4e87e209

Sandmann is checking if there've been changes with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. There's also the possibility that there's something wrong with your system/installation, blacklisted stuff is blacklisted for a reason. We'll let you know if something comes up.

RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - starslayer74 - 2020-05-01

I am experiencing Artwork loss also - My library is a mix of Amazon movies and local files - I go into my library and I can see the artwork for a moment, but then it disappears quickly, right in front of my eyes. The only movies with issues are the ones from Amazon.

Edit: I will add that everything was working ok until yesterday

Edit #2 - I found that the artwork saves in the directory as expected - but it won't display. I switched my skin back to Estuary, and it's displaying correctly. So it must be a skin issue.

Artwork Beef is configured exactly the same way for both Movies and TV Shows and to automatically download artwork after items are scanned to the library.
However, when I export movie titles I'm only ever getting the poster and fanart artwork. When I export TV shows, I'm getting the extended artwork as well (clearlogo, landscape, clearart, etc).
I can't figure out why this might be happening, as the tags on my advanced settings.xml are also the same for both movies and TV shows.
Would there be anything related to the addon that might prevent additional artwork being downloaded for the movie titles I export?
Just seems quite strange that I'm getting extended artwork for TV Shows, but not for movies, particularly as they are configured the same way.
I found that when I export my Amazon movies to the library, I have to go to each one and manually refresh information - then it scrapes all of the info and imports additional artwork to the folder where the strm is located.

RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - DarrenHill - 2020-05-02

@ninjafuchs - there's actually one more, which seems to be a new addition to the banned addon (wiki):

Code:
2020-05-01 21:05:50.798 T:140563454410688  NOTICE: ADDON: script.module.f4mproxy v1.0.16 installed

The naughty list has been updated to include it, and as with the others it would be suggested to remove it as it's orphaned but still active.

Some of the resolver scripts also probably came from the dodgy sources, but as there may be legit addons which also use them don't do anything with those.

RE: Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]] - Varstahl - 2020-05-02

@ninjafuchs Ubuntu 20.04 LTS removed all support for the insecure TLS1.0 and TLS1.1. The problem is that Amazon's login endpoint only supports TLS1.0. There is no known workaround at the moment, we'll need to find out if we can maybe change the login endpoint, it's going to take a while though.

Same here since yesterday evening - on a macOS system. Therefore probably no OS-related problem.

Me too, Nvidia Shield, UK. I can play stuff by finding it through other routes, but just errors on the Watchlist.

Yup, this method seems to work for me as well. I had been scanning the library folder for new content after I exported the item which does add them to the library, just not the additional artwork until you do the manual refresh. Works well....Cheers!
