i was surprised when Steve Carell name wasn't scraped as cast member in The Office!
i had to check in tmdb but it was there

I've just re-scraped the show (using tvdb) and everything is fine.

i see. i guess this another thetvdb vs tmdb issue.
for the future, should thetvdb be the main scrapper?

I've just analyzed the API response from tmdb for this show:
for the show itself the API responds only with 17 main actors (the ones from your screenshot) and for episode 1x1 e.g. there are only 3 guest stars..
steve carell is in none of these two lists
looks like this is a known issue over at tmdb: https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/5de3116fa7e363001969bed4
on the other side I've just seen that there is a season cast too at tmdb (no other side has this!?), so I think I need to implement this also in our scraper to get the season cast into tmm
