Hi,
Call me stupid, but i just can't find an edit button for a post.
I merely wanted to fix a typo...
Is editing not allowed?

It is an anti-spam measure. You need time and post count to meet a minimum requirement before other forum options are enabled for you. You certainly meet one, but not the other. A few more posts will see those extra permissions become available.

Yuck.
That "prevention" is a good way of scaring your users away too.
Instead of that drastic measure, a more moderate (say only 1 edit every x minutes or so) would be far more friendly.

You have no idea the lengths we go to ensuring that spam is kept to a minimum on this forum, and so many still slips through. That particular restriction targets the "discrete spammers"

you should allow post editting for at least some time perios. ideally like 72 hours
or at least 10 minutes
