Channel changes while already watching live TV not working - benicehavefun - 2020-01-12
Since upgrading to Kodi 18.5 I am unable change channels while already watching a Live TV channel -- the channel does not change. Stopping playback and selecting a new channel from the guide works.
Running:
Kodi 18.5
MediaPortal 1.23
TVServerKodi 1.22.0.142

EDIT: With some further testing, it appears channels are changing, but the timeshift buffer is going back to the beginning. So, if I change channels after 10 minutes of watching one channel, I'm shifted back that 10 minutes and don't see the channel change until that 10 minutes has gone by again in the timeshift buffer. I tried disabling "fast channel changes" in the MediaPortal client addon, but that doesn't seem to be changing anything.
