Kodi v18.6 constantly re-scanning libraries on entry - nme123 - 2020-03-19
I found one more problem with kodi 18.6 after going there from 17.6.
When entering a directory/library with movies, kodi now always starts to scan the existing files and reading all tags (SD/HD) for those files, that have these tags from 17.6 (see other thread, kodi 18.6 is not creating these tags anymore).
As I have plenty of files in one directory, that is kind of annoying. If this is a somewhat of a feature (what for?) I have not found the option to turn this of.

Disable item 2.1 here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Media/Library#Video_Library
If that is not it, then provide a Debug Log which captures the problem.

It is not rescanning on startup only, it does the rescan every time you enter that directory/library.
Will try to enable debug log and provide a clean one.
