RE: Youtube plugin doesn`t continue playlist when started via CLI - DarrenHill - 2019-10-21 (2019-10-21, 18:44)jmmolenaar Wrote:(2019-10-17, 21:26)DarrenHill Wrote: @jmmolenaar - your post has been merged into the proper YouTube support thread where hopefully it can get the required attention. Enable debug logging, restart Kodi, reproduce the issue, upload the log, and then disable debug logging. debug_log (wiki) RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - Paulo Boullos - 2019-10-22 (2019-10-22, 15:46)anxdpanic Wrote: @Paulo BoullosI'm sorry for the mistake, I hope I did it right this time. Example video where problem occurs: https://tinyurl.com/yxv5qhz4 Logfile: https://paste.kodi.tv/wusikiyuda RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2019-10-23 @Paulo Boullos That was exactly what was needed. Enable 'YouTube Settings -> MPEG-DASH -> Use for Videos' and configure your video quality in the MPEG-DASH category as well. Quality is limited without mpeg-dash, there are videos that are 360p max, and videos that have broken 720p streams. If you're still not seeing the quality that you're expecting, create a new debug_log (wiki) with the mpeg-dash settings configured. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2019-10-23 Just to give everyone a quick heads up. Soon this add-on may not be able to get your true Watch Later playlist id, which is required to be able to remove videos from your Watch Later list. Will be looking for a solution, but now would be a good time to backup your Watch Later playlist id. To do this:

Thanks so much for the great YouTube plugin. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - linesma - 2019-11-03 I am having an issue logging in for the first time. I know that one has to do this before they can enable a personal API key. I will get the first code and it appears to work. Then I go to add the second code, and Kodi just "hangs and errors out. If I try to log in again. nothing will happen. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and a complete uninstall, but to no avail. I am running Kodi 18.4 and plug in version 6.5.2 on an nVidia Shield TV. Here is the log: https://paste.kodi.tv/ixokuhegih.kodi RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - Paulo Boullos - 2019-11-03 Is it possible to change the position of “Go to” to always appear in the first position in place of “Refresh”? (see photo below) If possible, what file should be edited? I appreciate any help. Youtube Addon problems - slackito - 2019-11-09 Hi, i am facing some wierd problems with the youtube addon. I am running an odroid n2 with coreelec nightly. Nightly is currently required because of some bugs in CEC with the latest stable. When i search some songs it first works, then i get an error and then i get no search results at all anymore. Example: 1) I search "lana del ray" 2) i listen a few songs 3) i search "ol dirty bastard" 4) i click on "got ya money ft. kelis" 5) i recieve an error in the upper right screen that something went wrong 6) i click a couple of times on that item, the same error message appears 7) i click back to the search results 8) i click again on the "ol dirty bastard" query 9) i just see "..." as search results now i have to delete function cache and some other stuff in maintenance of that addon to get it working again, for a few songs. anyone else encountering this? is this a known problem? here is the kodi log, but i did not enable debug: https://paste.kodi.tv/uvasuhavoj.kodi RE: Youtube Addon problems - slackito - 2019-11-09 unfortunately i can not edit my posts... wth. i am running version 6.5.1 of the youtube plugin RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - DarrenHill - 2019-11-09 @slackito - I've merged your posts into the YouTube addon support thread. You can't yet edit posts as your account is too new and with too few posts to have that priv. It's a generic anti-spam measure, as we've had too many bots use that route to dump their payloads. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - slackito - 2019-11-12 I updated to the latest version available at github and it seems to work now. I created a bug report for coreelec, so that they please update their addon repository. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - powermarcel10 - 2019-11-20 Hello, Since 2 days my Youtube on kodi is not working anymore.. It looks like the video starts playig but than stops. the rest of my addons and videos/movies are playing fine.. Are there more perople with this problem? Has Youtube changed something on ther side? RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - slackito - 2019-11-20 did you already try to delete all the caches ? |
