RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - tpax - 2019-04-08 (2019-04-06, 03:59)Pigeon14 Wrote: Hey guys, there are some seemingly random videos that wont play using the add-on. Here is one that I cant get to work. It seems to start to play and retrieves the title but just quits out.I have the same problem. You video isn't working as well on my Kodi installation. Here is another one that just won't start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCKg4wlNU18 Very unfortunate. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2019-04-08 @Pigeon14 The 720p stream for that video doesn't work, all other qualities work including MPEG-DASH. Doesn't appear to be caused by the add-on/Kodi. @tpax All streams for that video are working here. Will need a complete debug log (wiki) to see what is happening in your case. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - xodi - 2019-04-09 Hi @anxdpanic There are only first 2 numbers reported for an IP address connection for http server, this seems to be a typo. Can you fix this issue at https://github.com/jdf76/plugin.video.youtube/blob/master/resources/lib/youtube_plugin/kodion/utils/http_server.py#L48 ? Thanks RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - xalaros10 - 2019-04-09 Fresh install Kodi 18.1 on Android box and every time I try to go to 2nd page of every list of videos for example "Liked videos" or "My Favorites" on YouTube v6.4.0 appears error...."Exception in ContentProvider....Could not parse iso 8601 timestamp". I have log-in and configure it MPEG-DASH with API Keys. Any idea how to resolve it? https://paste.kodi.tv/avipubovon EDIT: Problem solved with "plugin.video.youtube-6.4.1~beta2.zip"...thanks a lot anxdpanic for the support. https://github.com/jdf76/plugin.video.youtube/issues/599 RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2019-04-09 @xodi This wasn't a typo but it was unnecessary, the full ip will be logged in 6.4.1 xalaros10 issue was resolved; https://github.com/jdf76/plugin.video.youtube/issues/599 Post #2 is updated with v6.4.1 RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - DappereDodo - 2019-04-11 Ever since upgrading to 18.1 rc1 (actually libreelec 9.0.1) I have some strange behavior with the YouTube plugin. Sometimes when I start a video the loading indicator stays on screen when the video has started playing already. If I then stop the video and start it again it plays fine. However, in list-mode the duration of the video is not shown anymore and the watched flag isn't set. Whatever I do, that particular video will never show its duration anymore. A link to a logfile is below, but I didn't have debug info on when the above happened (I did experience the issue once with debug info on, but when I wanted to upload it, it said the size was too big; any solutions for that?). This happened a little bit after 20:00. Another problem that sometimes pops up is the enter key not working. I open the addons, go to Subscriptions and press enter, nothing happens. Debug log is below. I waited until 20:06 and then pressed enter a few times. http://paste.kodi.tv/ukacukisem RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - Kovatch - 2019-04-12 @Luke Cage @Spiderfish @anxdpanic Thanks to you all for the good info! After somewhat heavy research I happened upon the Kinos ATV1 build and it's really great. It's using 16.1 and you're right, live streams do play very well, even at high resolutions like 720 and even 1080 works O.K. without inputstream. It strangely has much trouble playing 720P videos and freezes up on many, though not all videos even at similar .264 so I must use 360P for videos. All in all I love the way the add-on works, it's truly quite special and has many additional benefits over other platforms. Thanks alot for the excellent work on this thing.) RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - haku - 2019-04-15 Hi, my Kodi suddenly started to pop up the YT addon setting page on startup with the message: "LogIn Exception 400 - Invalid Grant". Whatever I do, the settings window keep popping up, rendering my Kodi unusable. I've tried to delete all API keys, reset every setting, delete all json files under Maintenance to no avail. Do you have any idea why it keeps popping up, even after hitting Cancel? thx RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - Luke Cage - 2019-04-16 @haku Same issue : https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=325740&pid=2708734#pid2708734 S/He resolved the issue this way. Maybe it also works for you. : https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=325740&pid=2708844#pid2708844 RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - xodi - 2019-04-17 Hi @anxdpanic , the premiered property of ListItem returned by YouTube addon seems not right, may be related with time zone. I have the correct region/location set when run YouTube at first time. For example, the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51pj_gdLITk has a time "2019-04-05", but YouTube addon returns "2019-04-04". Would you please fix this? Thanks! RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - TexasDave - 2019-04-19 Is anyone else having issues playing "live news" streams? For example: Sky News: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrX6ktLg8WQ Euro News: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t04Mv8_5sM Happy to provide logs or further info? Plays for a few seconds, then plays same bit again, then exits. Thanks! For example: Sky News Live works OK for me RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - TexasDave - 2019-04-20 @blueribb Thanks for checking. I am on the latest version of OSMC and running on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. Other YoutTube videos seem to work. Is there something different about the "live news" videos on YouTube or can I send in some debug information to narrow this down? I am a news junkie... :-) Thanks! Dave RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - TexasDave - 2019-04-21 Still no luck playing any "live news" streams on my setup (OSMC/Pi 3 B+)...below are logs. http://paste.kodi.tv/ovopuruyey.kodi Any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks! Dave YouTube Plug-in Thread - DarrenHill - 2019-04-21 @TexasDave - your log doesn't have debug logging enabled.
