Awesome. Enabling HDR10 gives me a perfect picture. (I also tried to enable Dolby Vision but even though I do get 4K resolution, the colours are completely off with artefacts....)
And adding titles manually to the library works now too.

Sorry, but I got another question. I realized I can't select the highest video quality. I tested this with regular 1080p content as well as with 4k:
Even though I manually select the highest bitrate, on most titles it plays just the third best (for some titles second best) for 4k and as far as I can tell always second best for 1080p.
Is this a bug or something on my end?

The playlist lists different bandwidths with different audio profiles
3x in this case (AAC, eac-3, Atmos)
26.52 for 3840x2160 with AUDIO="aac-128k" (2 channel)
26.65 for 3840x2160 with AUDIO="eac-3" (DD+)
27.16 for 3840x2160 with AUDIO="atmos" (Atmos)
The quality select doesn't know what audio is going to be selected when it shows.
So it just shows all the qualities it finds.
So, if your selecting 27.16 and only using 2 channel audio, you'll actually get 26.52 (3rd down).
Only way to fix this would be to proxy the playlist and remove all other qualities that haven't been selected.
But then some users may get forced into DD+ when they need 2 channel.

Let me see If I understood correctly. The list with playback quality shown just before the stream begins is the sum of video bitrate and audio bitrate combined?
Then it would make sense if the highest video quality is actually a lower bitrate number.
Because when I manually select the highest video quality and the Atmos track, I get the third best playback quality.
Otherwise there might be an issue, but in any case, I can't complain. Picture is very good. It was just something I noticed.

oh wait, I'm being a bit "dumb" - (no coffee yet)
All the 3x point to the same sub-playlist "composite_16500k_CENC_CTR_UHD_HDR_HDR10_8355c51a-ed45-4a32-abd9-465cd559c277_8e1ff740-a1bb-4a8a-8252-83f928597d16.m3u8"
So, the bandwidth in the playlist is Video (always the same) + Audio.
I suspect IA / Kodi just shows the bandwidth from the first rendition it comes accross (regardless of audio) choice.
The first is: 26.52
So, Kodi will always show 26.52 as the video bit-rate no matter what audio you choose.
So, you will be getting the best possible, it's just Kodi shows the 1st bitrate it sees for the subplaylist
It doesn't show the bitrate for the actual Video + audio.
I'll need to run some experiments to see how IA selects a stream.
Then I can update my quality select code to mimic that and only show the same subplaylist once with the same bandwidth that kodi shows.

I am on a windows computer, what are my limitations?, can i run i 4k? i have a hdr capable screen but i dont asume it so easy?

windows isn't L1 Widevine device, so your limited to 1280x720 @ 23.98fps (same as their website etc)

Confirmed, if quality control skips any further qualities using the same url, it works correctly and reduces the quality list a lot! YAH!
0.16.1 of SlyGuy common has the fix in it

Is it possible to remove the prefix "XBMC" in SlyGuy's common module (/resources/lib/player.py)?
Maybe just for Kodi Matrix?
The reason for this is that the prefix no longer exists in Kodi Matrix and playback sync is not working for Disney+.

Hi i try to play an episode or movie in Disney plus addon, im on 18.6, have the newest widevine, inputstream etc installed. When i try to play something though it i hear audio but nothing plays in the video tab, and it wierdly glitches halfway through the screen but the osd is there.

is probably your issue
Try reinstall widevine via Disney Addon settings > Playback > Install Widevine CDM
Lots of banned add-ons in there as well that could be causing all sorts of issues
