Yeah thats fucked nvm ill use the smart tv app

RE: Disney+ - Klojum - 2023-01-21

@Pienoet Please keep your words family-friendly. Thanks.

RE: Disney+ - matthuisman - 2023-01-22

It's the vod providers than enforce it. I don't see the point anymore as l1 seems to have been defeated some time ago

I Have a ODROID N2 and i wanna know for sure before i install this addon.
Is this working the same way like the netflix addon?
bc the netflix addon is max 1080p.
i dont own a non-L1 android device but i can tell you that on debian linux which i dont think is L1 i am able to get full 4k, its probably best to make your own assessment as every device is different
That's interesting considering that claims say it HAS to be android L1 otherwise 4k won't work. What hardware are you running debian linux on?

11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz
TigerLake GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]
Samsung 980Pro 1TB NVME 4

i guess i could mention its not an Official release package, i compiled from github nexus branch

RE: Disney+ - matthuisman - 2023-01-22

@jepsizofye
I'm really surprised that you can access L1 content...
If you look in your log, there should be an entry called "WV level" - does it detect as L1?

Oh interesting. That is just a laptop lenovo. Are you connecting it to larger resolution monitor? I wonder if it is because you run linux rather than windows

@matthuisman
Code:
2023-01-22 15:49:07.267 T:75652    info <general>: script.module.slyguy - Widevine Level (fallback): 3

@kizerage212
this is just my little workstation laptop, no extra monitors

RE: Disney+ - 27hectormanuel - 2023-01-23

I would like 4k on linux or windows Sad

RE: Disney+ - izprtxqkft - 2023-01-23

im completely oblivious why it works for me @27hectormanuel just thought it was meant to and didnt question it, looks like most people are not getting 4k with D+

RE: Disney+ - matthuisman - 2023-01-23

@jepsizofye
unless disney+ have changed something recently.

is your subscription the ad-supported tier or full teir?
What country are you in?
what version of disney+ addon are you using?

The screenshot shows "truehd" for audio. Also, it shows chapter 1 of 16.

The Disney+ addon does not do TrueHD, only DD+. And the movie in the addon only has 9 chapters.

I looked at my UHD blu-ray rip and that one does have TrueHD and 16 chapters. So it looks like you were playing the movie from a blu-ray rip and not with the Disney+ addon?

RE: Disney+ - izprtxqkft - 2023-01-23

doh! youre right @MrMagic i was playing the wrong file, meant to select Multiverse of Madness but missed and got the original Doctor Strange from my library

sorry

MM only 720p, 1280x720 from D+

walk of shame

Ahh, I guess it makes sense now. Disney plus support is clueless too. I asked them if you can get 4k on your pc through like windows edge and they were 100% confident you could.
