No...there is no bug in your Disney+ addon...matthuisman.
It's just a problem how to play an episode of the series I mentioned via Kodi 21 Alpha 2 Omega in interaction with InputStream Adaptive 21.1.3.

No...there is no bug in your Disney+ addon...matthuisman.
It's just a problem how to play an episode of the series I mentioned via Kodi 21 Alpha 2 Omega in interaction with InputStream Adaptive 21.1.3.
is there an inputstream bug somewhere on github that solves this problem? I have the same version of both Kodi and InputStream. When playing some series on Disney+, I have the same problem, a "broken" picture, non-functional Dolby Atmos sound, subtitles not appearing in my language, etc. At the same time, but when I play, for example, the movie Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which has the same parameters, there is no problem at all, likewise, no other addon shows similar problems on this version of Kodi, which is strange if the problem is with InputStream.

@matthuisman any news on the planned Kodi library integration?
This is perhaps the main reason holding me back from this plugin! I really like that feature in the Netflix plugin..I know it probably could work with Osmosis, but would be much cleaner to have it directly.

This has been a topic for a long time. Unfortunately, Osmosis works poorly with Disney+, and with HBO Max, at least for me recently, it stopped working completely, so I would also finally appreciate it. Not only the Netflix addon, but also the Amazon VOD addon have this function and it would be nice to have all the watchlists together in the Kodi library...

Hi @matthuisman,
in the Disney+ add-on, continue watching, when trying to continue any movie, the normal subtitle not visible, which I choose and set earlier.
Visible just, when I play from beginning of the movie, via pop-up menu. When I select continue, is not visible.
Tested in android kodi 20 and 21, and CoreElec kodi 20 and 21.
The HBOMax add-on from you works fine.
edit : I see similar issue pointed in the github.

regarding resume subs not working.
I believe its a bug in inpustream.adaptive
I tested IA on Kodi 20 and 21 and it doesnt work
However, older IA in Kodi 19 does work.

Can someone explain what the Disney+ Sync Playback option does? Sometimes the Disney+ addon doesn't remember where I was in an episode or if I watched it and it seems related to having the Sync Playback option enabled.

With sync enabled, it'll send Disney your position and use Disneys position when you go to resume in the add-on. It won't use kodis db for resume.

Thanks, that's how it seemed it should work. There must be another reason that I periodically lose the position status when I use the addon.

On last weeks my addon is no more able to access to myvideo list and also if I search title is not finding eveything.
For example if I serch Nemo it does not find the film.
I tried to reinstall the repository and the addon but no improve!
Any idea?

I read a bit about it earlier today. They just launched beta today and it will be fully released in March 2024.
