is scraping the movie theme is now broken because the TvTunes add on was discontinued?

I don't think so. Televisiontunes.com is still online but i don't know how to add/play the themes in Kodi. I've never used that addon.

Thanks I figured it out. Ember still downloads movie themes when it finds them. I have no idea how it does that when the Tvtunes add on is broken. Maybe Ember works with the new version of that add on: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=347428
I did not dig deeper since it started to work. I think to play the themes, Kodi needs a compatible skin. Lately, I started using Aeon Tajo and it plays the themes saved in the same movie folder without any manual configuration.

Ember don't need TvTunes to download, I have an own scraper for that. The file name settings are only the same that TvTunes used. That's the reason why "TvTunes Addon" is displayed in the settings.

That is fantastic I was hoping then the user get some option for theme scraping like quality for example but that's up to you 😊
