hello, when we use <control type="edit" in xml or xbmcgui.ControlEdit in script ,
it's possible to prevent the popup keyboard when we [ mousseclick ,click enter ,or key OK remote] on editcontrol.
I'm looking for a way to prevent the keyboard from opening thanks.

Hello , I asked a question maybe in the wrong place Here .
It's possible to reproduce the focus of dialogs in kodi >> (click are only capture by controlEdit & click on controlEdit don't open another keyboard dialog) .
for custom dialog with python or xml code ?

nope, it's not possible to disable the keyboard popup.
