my setup gtx 980 windows 10 pc
denon avr 2310
panasonic non hdr 1080p 3D tv
latest version of kodi
so today i tried my first rip of a 4k hdr bluray on kodi, saving private ryan
All my other rips are standard blurays but i want to buy 4K HDR materiel from now on just to future proof for the eventual TV upgrade
problem is the colours are seriously washed out when watching this
i tried the video in vlc player and the built in windows player and the colours are fine
anybody in my position who has found a fix for this, tried the tonemapping in the video options that did nothing for...

Make sure Render Method in Settings - Player - Videos is set to Pixel Shaders otherwise Tone Mapping won't work properly.
