Hi, Yes AVC1. For example, if I choose 360 mp4; h.264... I have no problem. For all other resolutions 720, 1080 and higher, I can't go back. [/url] And here log: https://paste.kodi.tv/ewurelohig.kodi RE: YouTube - PANiCnz - 2024-07-24 Has anyone got an up to date guide on logging into YT with the Kodi plug-in? I've followed some of the guides online and still can't get it working. RE: YouTube - THRobinson - 2024-07-26 Hmm, bummer... Set to default and ran wizard and set to raspberry pi5 or equivalent. Plays, and can toggle stream to different resolution, but it was much better to choose the stream before playback.... Depending how long the video is, what it is, how busy my network is, etc, sometimes I want 720p and sometimes 1080p, trailers in 4k etc. Bit annoying to have the video start playing then stop it to switch streams, then play and have to skip back to the start again. RE: YouTube - MoojMidge - 2024-07-27 For everyone experiencing crashes using Windows and Kodi v21, do not simply try to downgrade to a previous version of InputStream.Adaptive, update the Visuall C++ redistributable package: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-microsoft-visual-c-redistributable-version (2024-07-23, 17:47)Alyyy Wrote: And here log: ewurelohig.kodi (paste) You appear to have banned addons in your log, so I don't think additional support can be provided. However your log indicates that the seeking is occuring successfully, albeit not to the exact timestamp you may expect. Perhaps try with a newer version of Kodi and InputStream.Adaptive as some work was done to improve this. Don't understand, the old method didn't allow you to switch at all. You had to stop and restart to choose a different stream. The new way allows you to switch while the video is playing, seamlessly. No need to stop, restart, skip or do anything like that. RE: YouTube - THRobinson - 2024-07-27 You don't have to stop/start, but, you do miss stuff going into the OSD and switching streams and closing the OSD. Kinda wanna choose stream and press play and watch the video, not wait for it to start and go into the menu and switch streams and back mid video. I installed on another SD kodi 21 and I get the same thing. the return does not work. also impossible to install inputstream.adaptive RE: YouTube - blueribb - 2024-07-30 (2024-07-30, 17:01)Alyyy Wrote:Scroll down your log to see another one(2024-07-29, 10:33)MatteN Wrote:I see only vstream.(2024-07-29, 08:48)Alyyy Wrote: Which addons are banned ?The ones marked with orange in your log. Remove the banned addons and provide a clean debug log (wiki) or we'll just bin your posts. And I see two banned repositories too btw. RE: YouTube - jbrid - 2024-07-30 Hello, I appreciate anyone who can help clarify the situation that I am in. Here is my currect version info: Ubuntu: 22.04.4 Kodi: 20.2 YouTube: 7.0.6.3 I see here that there have been a couple stable versions of the plugin released in the last couple months. Does anyone know why these haven't made it to the official Kodi Repo? I usually wait for new releases there rather than try to install from zip. I am experiencing two issues that I am not sure are fixed in newer versions, but I would hope to upgrade and find out:
Thanks! RE: YouTube - JNRW - 2024-07-30 (2024-07-30, 20:44)jbrid Wrote: Hello,I think you ought to install version 7.0.9+ beta.5 from GitHub. A lot of improvements have been made since your version. Also InputStream Adaptive has been updated very recently. It is now version 21.5.0. Hi, Again other log clean : https://paste.kodi.tv/jitodobori.kodi RE: YouTube - MoojMidge - 2024-08-03 (2024-07-27, 09:04)THRobinson Wrote: You don't have to stop/start, but, you do miss stuff going into the OSD and switching streams and closing the OSD. Kinda wanna choose stream and press play and watch the video, not wait for it to start and go into the menu and switch streams and back mid video. That's more of an UI issue with opening a dialog from the OSD. I use a modified version of the Arctic Horizon 2 skin that displays all the available video streams, audio streams and subtitles directly in individual popups from the OSD, where the normal player controls and seekbar are displayed. Don't miss anything. Anyway the underlying issue is that the streams you want to select from, prior to playback starting, simply don't exist anymore. Newest beta version on Github may help with this, by offering alternatives automatically, but it is unlikely that it will be a longterm solution. In any case, it looks like you just need to run the Setup Wizard and setup the plugin properly. (2024-07-31, 17:00)Alyyy Wrote: Again other log clean : jitodobori.kodi (paste)As mentioned previously, the seek is working, just not the way you may expect. The difference is in the type of streams that are available and how you are playing them. I am also fairly certain, but could be wrong, that this never would have worked the way you are describing on your device, it would have been seeking back further than 3 seconds, but depending on the seek delay and the video encoding it may have seemed like it was only around 3s. Now that you have enabled InputStream.Adaptive and MPEG-DASH, the seek position is evaluated differently, which is why you are seeing it seek less than 3 seconds, and in some instances I think it is even possible for a seek back of such a short duration to actually end up seeking forwards. Newest beta version on Github may help with this, by offering alternatives to the streams you were probably playing previously, but you will need to run the Setup Wizard and ensure InputStream.Adative is disabled. RE: YouTube - Alyyy - 2024-08-06 all i can say is that i could do it before after a certain update, i think at the beginning of the year, the search doesn't work anymore. https://uploadnow.io/fr/share my only way is to change codec, so reoslution 360p or 480p. I'll try the latest version I can't install InputStream.Adaptive, whatever the version. |
