new setup but not able to connect to db - ikkeenjij36 - 2020-09-28
Hi all this is a question that has to to do with an mysql database.
I've set it up on a syno nas,created user kodi granted all rights as per tutorials,then i did my advanced settings and all,then i started kodi at first it couldn't connect while the db weren't there yet after a second start it created the db but i got missing views.
Kodi is running on my pc with win 10 but also have the same problem with my intel nuc running

Hope that someone can help cause i knwo its a little thing but cant find the solution right now

Can you enable Debug Mode and also enable Component Logging for SMB Library (if you are using SMB) and Database components.

Normally that would indicate insufficient database user rights, meaning the views weren't allowed to be created.
Doublecheck on them first.
MYSQL: Connected to version 5.5.62-MariaDBThat is a pretty old version by now.
