Should be pretty obvious there’s a major discrepancy.
Edit: The screenshots I took for 1.13 show the big font. Now they do not, even when building 1.13 with the former Xcode version.

Yeah, the taller one is from my 15 on the latest iOS. The other one with larger fonts is from iOS 13 on iPhone 6s.

The labels were in general too small for the desired font size. Looks like old iOS still rendered this and new iOS corrected it. Not sure where else in the App this happens. At least I can bring this back to the desired state.

Now for another bug. I swear this is new. Must be another iOS thing.
Your add host link to the Kodi wiki launches Safari zoomed in on the webpage way too much on my 15.
Ironically, on my 6s the webpage loads at the proper zoom level.
No such issue exists with the forum link.

Just found another iOS version related issue: The scroll indicator is gone with iOS 17. No idea where this is coming from.
Edit: The issue with WiKi zoomed up too much I do not see on simulator or my iPhone 14 Pro (iOS 17.3.1)

I’m seeing some extremely weird behavior.
What zoom level does the simulator show? This is access by pressing on the AA button. It should indicate the %.
By default it was using 85%. Double tapping on the screen zooms it to fit to screen. But this does not change the zoom %. Manually changing the zoom % to 50% fixes the problem but the screen is still offset.
I really don’t know what is going on.
Strangely for a split second when first loading the website is fine but then it zooms in.

@UlfSchmidt, instead of using a NowPlaying icon at the bottom I am thinking of an icon which represent going back to the desktop aka closing all open panels. This is what the functionally really is about. Some quick and dirty icon ideas I came up with Powerpoint:

Sorry for my often late replies, but I’m currently receiving forum notification mails only from time to time on an absolutely random basis.
I really like the icons from your first icon set much more than the second icon with the stars. From the icon set, my favorite would be the second, followed by the one you used in your mockup screenshot.
Removing these functions from the main menu makes absolutely sense for me. But, as the main menu is already customizable, I don’t mind if these options remain. I have the Remote entry already disabled since the very beginning.

Thanks, will play around a bit more with the initial set of icons. The related code changes are quite simple, but they need the UI rework to be merged first. So, will come very soon I hope
Edit: After a lot of playing around with icons I now ended up with keep using the NowPlaying icon. As adding this button is a small change I now added it on top the UI / NowPlaying rework. It will be going into the mainline in one go.

I looked around the app on my 6s to check for any other font sizing issues and did not find anything obvious. Hopefully what you fixed is all that needed to be.
I see the scroll bar issue as well. Not sure if it’s related but you may want to check your fix in the settings menu as well. It’s missing there too.
When you do implement the new power menu and possibly move the library maintenance buttons, would it be possible to add new buttons to scrape album and artist info? This is actually well hidden on Kodi server. I had to look up how to do it this past weekend. It would be wonderful if the app made this functionality available in the same place that library cleaning is.

Thanks for checking the font issue with you old iPhone.
The missing scrollbar impacts all lists which have a search function (pull down the list). This really is a bug go iOS17. I have found a workaround, but am not yet sure if this it is really a good way to resolve this.
I could not find any API for the the artist / album scrape.

Regarding the album and artist scrape: There are (at least on my iPad) two entries for the Audio and Video libraries: Update and Cleanup. Is this different on iPhones? Isn’t Update exactly doing what are you looking for? I always use this and never needed something else.
And, since scrapers are add-ons, any further functionality would depend on the scrapers installed on Kodi server and I fear this is also the reason that there aren’t any further API calls implemented.
Or am I missing something?
