How to make the Duplicates filter work correctly? - pto199 - 2021-02-18

Hello.  I'm new to TMM and I loaded my movies into the program but when I turn on the filter to only show duplicates, it shows nothing.  What is wrong here?  I can see I do have duplicates without the filter (see screenshot where I highlighted them yellow)

Here is a screenshot of what I see after I apply the filter

Only throwing in a guess:
None of your movies is scraped, maybe Duplicates only works with scraped movies.

Ok perhaps a follow up question then.  How can I change the metadata folder the files go into after scraping?  I have a clean library with nothing but movie files and subtitles in the movie folders.  I don't want to scrape my library because I do not want to flood my folders with .nfo and jpg files that I don't want.

Then maybe try Kodi instead. It won't write nfo files unless you export your library and won't add image files as long as you don't scrape artwork.
But either with Kodi or tmm, no way to separate nfo and images files from video files.
