Help install NextPVR - Wambat - 2021-04-12
Hi, I seem to have lost my way installing the PVR :-(
HOW do I install the "Backend" for NextPVR on a PI4 with LibreELEC 9.2.6 and Kodi 18.9.0 ?
Everything I read just says to use the addon. There I can see 3.3.21.1, but that is the Client.
Even if I try to install that, I get "Addon couldn't be loaded" "Unknown Error"
Please.. This is driving me nuts!! :-(

Backend install questions typically go on the NextPVR forum, however if you are having trouble installing Docker that would be for the LibreElec forum. If you can install Docker use this image https://hub.docker.com/r/nextpvr/nextpvr_arm32v7
If you don't want to install Docker and run native you can't just follow Linux instructions on mini distros. CoreElec and LibreElec teams don't provide packages for NextPVR support but I was successfully able to install NextPVR backend on stock CoreElec using these instructions https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=62150&pid=551764#pid551764 If you need some dependencies like that also post on the LibreElec forum.
Primarily you need packages for the .dotnet runtime and also the aspnetcore runtime but you may find you need some tools that they package specific to TVHeadend.
