Ember 1.9.2 trailer URLs don't scrape to NFO - dugking - 2021-05-18
Hey,
First, I love this program, and I appreciate how useful it is. Thank you!
I've run into a problem recently where when I scrape a new movie, the trailer link is not included in the scrape. In settings, movies, scrapers - data, I have trailers checked in Scraper Fields - Global. I also have the option to save YouTube trailer links in XBMC compatible format checked. For the scrapers - data, I have TMDB and IMDB both checked, though only TMDB has an option to scrape the trailer. For Scrapers - trailers, I have nothing selected because I do not want to download trailers.
Finally, in Settings - files and sources, in the Kodi tab, I have all items checked in the Frodo Helix column, and also in the Eden column, though I'm not sure what these do differently.
So, those are my settings. In order to get the trailer YouTube link into the NFO, I have to go to the movie, right-click edit movie, hit the plus sign next to the (blank) box for "Trailer URL," hit the "Search" button for Search on YouTube, select a trailer from the list, then finally click the "Set to Nfo" button. This puts me back to the main Edit Movie page, this time with the YouTube link shown in the "Trailer URL" box. Clicking the OK button here then actually adds it to the NFO as promised.
Am I missing something as to why it's not adding the Trailer URL to the NFO during the initial scrape?

the problem is that trailer scrapers can't be used to scrape NFO trailers due to the way the scrapers a called by the scraper system. The only data scraper that is capable to scrap NFO trailers is TMDB. I can change that only in Ember 3.x, so until then the only way to get NFO trailers from trailer scrapers is to do it manually via edit dialog.
