Cache changes on XBox X - thelad73 - 2021-12-09

Hi
I've used Kodi on Pis and PCs. There was always a way of changing the video cache settings but I suppose it was because we could get into the file system. Is there an addon or at least some instructions to allow these changes to be made on an XBox X.
thanks

Such things are done in an advancedsettings.xml (wiki) file.

The simplest way to use one of those on a device like XBox would be to prepare it on another machine (a PC is usually simplest), then put it in a place that the XBox can see (one of your sources or shared drives for example). Then use the file manager built into Kodi to move it to your userdata (wiki) folder and restart Kodi. It should then be loaded just like any other Kodi device set-up.
