My Kodi is long to quit when I press command-q...
And I'd like a message to appear telling me that Kodi recevied the "quit" command, and is currently quitting.
Could be cool of course if that message would be optional and customizable.

I second this and would like to add:
A confirmation dialog on "Shutdown" and on "Reboot", and a notice that system us quit/reboot/shutdown.

Supported. Most devices have a confirmation dialogue which disappears immediately when you click Yes so at least you know something is happening.
