...that's also scheduled to record. How..?
I might be missing the obvious, but i believe currently one cannot set a reminder for a program (from any of the guide views) that's scheduled for recording. Or can we..?

One potential solution is to set the default reminder setting to record when the reminder pop-up closes (found in the PVR and Live TV settings). Obviously you would need to set a reminder on the guide view instead of a record. Guess this would do what you are asking.

Yes, that's a possible option, but i might end up with duplicate recordings ( i think, should test) if the program is already picked up by a timer.
Not neccesarily an issue, just might be a bit of a rough workaround and you will opt out on just receiving the reminder and change the channel without further interaction if there's no recording wanted/needed
Anyway, good to know it's not fatigue
