FWIW, my Lenovo IdeaCentre 5 supports DV with the MS add-on. I tried it when I read many Lenovo laptops support DV. Colours are correct and dynamic metadata is being used to map to my SDR monitor. I can also play Profile 5 using MPV which doesn't use the DV add-on. Colours are correct but it seems dynamic metadata is not being used. I guess MPV could be an external player but I haven't tried it through Kodi.
