@JohnWPB -

I've got some free time today...I'll make you some art.

Here's a peek at the text removal I'm doing on "Escape". My end goal is to remove the rest of the crease lines, and then take the little text out of the top and bottom. The bottom will be simple, but the top part looks challenging. Then I'll probably separate the two parts of the picture and then place the people more to the left of the house so you can see the whole thing. The fence makes for a good border.

Check it out...I'm damned impressed with myself. Will have the fanart for this and return up tomorrow.

LOL

Although those images don't look too bad. The second one is definitely crispy...well done. First one is just a *tad* blurry. You should try playing around with the sharpen\unsharp mask filter in Photoshop. If used properly, it can help pics with a little bit of fuzz. Big Grin

@crash123...I see we use the same image sources. That's my current poster image for "Comedy Central Presents Mitch Hedburg". Myabe I'll take some screenies today as well.

I use http://www.largeimagehost.com for my large images. Tinypic is also quite popular.

Wow I would be too. You have done a great job of those.

I was just wondering how do you guys take screenshots in XBMC. Is there a way to pause and take the picture without getting the playback dialogue in it as well?

Wow, looking good! Yea, that top part is gonna be tough. I myself would prob pain the text with the darker blue, and then try to clone in the branches from other places.

Hi,

Another request from me:

The 1978 film Blue Collar Starring Richard Pryor, Harvey Keitel and Yaphet Kotto.

IMDb link.

Thanks

I did what I could.... You have to realize the movie is from 1978 and the image quality back then is just not that great. This is from a decent scan of the cover, but still looks pretty bad, due to the quality of the cover when it was designed.

I did not upload it to MDB, as I just dont think its good enough quality. It will do for now, until and if something better could be found.

You can check it out HERE

Nice work man. I just happen to have both of the witch mountain movies and well no fanart. It would be great to have some if/when you have time to do some of course. Wink

Ummmm.... Not sure what you mean?

You posted this:

In the very next message I responded with this:

JohnWPB Wrote:I know exactly what you mean, I hated that red cover, and finally found THIS one.

True, but I don't have a gold membership at freecovers. No fullsize poster has been added at themoviedb.
Its easy if all you have to do is point out that there IS better artwork out there. Wink
Hell, I can do that with most of them.

Maybe I misunderstood you... You wanted just the cover right? As there are already a selection of fanart's available....The free images from that site are still pretty good resolution.... The "free" resolution on the site above for "The Baker" is 1530 width (After trimming off the spine and back).

I personally keep my covers to around 600 to 1000 pixel width. When you view them in just about any skin, they are just the size of thumbnails for the most part. The fanart is where I am really picky about the resolution, as they are stretched to around 40 inches on my TV Smile

I uploaded it to TMDB, Hope it is what you were looking for.

Yeah, had a little brainfreeze there. forgot about the free account. Blush One shouldn't really upload under 1000px. If that's really needed, that's an whole other question.Nerd

Thanks for the upload, a little bad crop though.Red line on the left. The image is also a little washed out, but it's better then what I had and it's something I can work with.Nod

I think it looks great thanks. I'm pretty sure it would be good enough for TMDb.
