iso playback - Octagon - 2008-10-29
good day
i read somewhere that xbmc can play ripped dvd isos. i downloaded k3b and started ripping pirates of the caribbean but when i go into xbmc and click to play it, the program crashes and closes down. i ran it in terminal and this is what it says:

any ideas or help. i googled what came up in the terminal but there was no results so it seams that it is an original problem. i am running a nearly fresh (1 day old) ubuntu hardy herron. thanks in advance.

Yes, XBMC can indeed play ripped ISO just fine, does for me anyway. You might want to review this posting though -> http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=34655
