Keymap.xml doesn't seem to use "special buttons" - mbuchoff - 2008-11-06
I am interested in using XBMC on my laptop using the play, pause, etc. buttons on the front of it. The documentation doesn't seem to cover this case. Is there a way to fudge Keymap.xml to do it?
If not, may I implement it? (I know we're in a feature-freeze, so I'm not sure if this is considered a fix or a feature.)

Check the debug log for the button id's.
