- antalm - 2009-01-25 I've just tried your test-build. And it's working!!! Is there any difference from Jester's -ext builds? I've tried a few without success. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help. - ixian - 2009-01-25 Any chance you would send me that build to Moby? I'm in the same situation, Vista32, MPC-hc, using Jester's 17261-ext build. - Jester - 2009-01-25 moby-uk Wrote:@antalm, manxam & highfish if you have an update to the patch, let me know so I can hold off in pushing to get the current patch in the SVN and if this is better then what we currently have, let's update the trac ticket and get that included too. Cheers for the work - highfish - 2009-01-26 @moby-uk External player is working perfectly now. Thank you! @ixian I've sent you the link in a pm. Hope moby agrees to this. - moby-uk - 2009-01-26 Jester Wrote:if you have an update to the patch, let me know so I can hold off in pushing to get the current patch in the SVN and if this is better then what we currently have, let's update the trac ticket and get that included too. in trac (under your ticket). - moby-uk - 2009-01-26 highfish Wrote:@ixian No problem, I don't want to publish it though as it comes out of my bandwith allowance. Is there anyone willing to do some XP testing of this? Let me know and I'll PM you the link, or Jester may be along soon with a public build. - Jester - 2009-01-26 moby-uk Wrote:No problem, I don't want to publish it though as it comes out of my bandwith allowance. I'll do a build tonight with your work, thanks ! - THX-UltraII - 2009-01-26 Jester Wrote:I'll do a build tonight with your work, thanks ! PM - Jester - 2009-01-26 Upped XBMCSetup-Rev17368-jester-ext.exe This is with mobyuk's latest patch.... - THX-UltraII - 2009-01-26 Jester Wrote:Upped XBMCSetup-Rev17368-jester-ext.exe so when downloading this 'XBMCSetup-Rev17368-jester-ext.exe' version I can use XBMC as movie browser intergrated with MPC HC? Only thing I would like to know is HOW to set everything up so it will work fine. ps. When MPC HC runs a movie, my HTPC also start Haali Splitter, AC3 decoder and ReClock. Will this still run? - digitalhigh - 2009-01-26 THX-UltraII Wrote:so when downloading this 'XBMCSetup-Rev17368-jester-ext.exe' version I can use XBMC as movie browser intergrated with MPC HC? If MPC is set up to run those filters when a video is opened, it will run those filters. Externalplayer just passes the filename to that player. - THX-UltraII - 2009-01-26 thxz, can you also help me on my way HOW TO config Jester's XBMC version in order to make it work with MPC HC? And how to add movies? Can I add more directory's where .mkv, .wmv and .ifo files are stored? Also, is it possible to play trailers (.mov's) that are in a separte folder before a movie starts? - digitalhigh - 2009-01-26 THX-UltraII Wrote:thxz, can you also help me on my way HOW TO config Jester's XBMC version in order to make it work with MPC HC? The addition that needs to be made to advancedsettings.xml: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=43511&page=15 Explanation of Advancedsettings.xml http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Advancedsettings.xml All those filetypes should be supported...you can add any source you like. http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Media_Sources Trailers are supported by XBMC...I don't know about playing them externally. I doubt it. For the trailer in xbmc... if the movie file is called Chronicles.Of.Riddick.avi then you would name the trailer file "Chronicles.Of.riddick-trailer.mov". It doesn't have to be an avi, any type of video should work. When you scan a folder into the library, xbmc will find the trailer and associate it with that movie. - THX-UltraII - 2009-01-26 thxz for all help. And what about movie information? Does XBMC downloading this automatic from the internet? And if so, what do I need to set up in order to make this work? - digitalhigh - 2009-01-26 THX-UltraII Wrote:thxz for all help. This stuff has nothing to do with externalplayer. I'll PM you in a second with my reply... |
