I agree...who really cares what a movie in your personal collection was rated. If you like it you like it, if you don't you don't...who cares what others think?

Bob___ Wrote:But please can we stop the discussion about a Xbox version of that skin. Every time the same story! The Xbox is "dead" and that is a fact. Sooner or later the HTPC User are in the majority (and to me this situation is already there).

IMHO it is a sacrilege to change Aeon Stark into a version for a system which is not a competitive HD platform.

Oh Please!

The Xbox is about as dead as your browsing skills! Take a look round the forum the biggest percentage of XBMC users are still running Xbox!

Looks awesome djh! Cool

I do not the think the xbox is dead by any stretch, but I do think more and more users are migrating to HTPC's that support HD content. I like that Stark is being deveolped with HTPC's in mind, but I'm sure someone will optimize it for the xbox crowd (which I'm apart of myself... though hopefully not for to much longer Big Grin )

Oh and thanks strangedaze39 for the link to the cover art site. It's phenonal and just what I was looking for. It has many covers in better quality than freecovers.net, which is a pay to use service (for the highquality uncompressed covers)

Just a quick and simple suggestion:

I think it would look better if there were stars instead of just a number in the IMDB rating (in the fullscreen poster screenshot of Wanted). You could fill the stars representing the ratting and leave stars outlines for the others.

I know that with a number, it's more precise and all that, but the rating location looks so empty compared to all the other content. Other than that, stars would like nicer than just a number, personal taste though.

What do you think?

I'm not looking for feature requests. Sorry.

- Nazgulled - 2009-02-17

It's not a feature request, the feature is already there (movie rating). It's a suggestion...

Can you really do a star rating for movies? Find me the info label and I'll put it in as an option.

Just wondering if anybody has some advice, or suggestions as to the best way to go about creating thumbnails, and ensuring best quality in Aeon etc.?

Most of my thumbnails are at vertical resolutions of 1500 or higher. So, should i keep them at these resolutions or resize them to a 1080pixel vertical resolution.

Also, when fixing my thumbnails should i create them at 72dpi or 300dpi?

Thanks

Don't forget to alter the <thumbsize> setting.

I honestly prefer the IMDB ranking. The way the star rating calculates things seems a little messed up. A movie with only a 5.6 ranking on IMDB still gets 3 stars. That's way too high... a 5.6/10 is generally a crap film.

.. it's in as an OPTION, so you can CHOOSE whatever you want...

How takes notice of the ratings anyway?
