Hi all
I am using MIP for my music now (already got films sorted with a mixtures of MIP and ember)
My problem is that when I get it to search out the music files it only seems to pick up the files with APE tags in them and not the ID3 tags. XBMC picks up stuff fine as does my other tagging programs but those files withe APE are the only ones MIP is picking up.
Does MIP only looks for APE tags or is there an option I am missing to get it to solely use ID3 tags

Hi there,
i have a big problem with mip (tried builds 2897 + 2898)
Actor's and director not added properly
Tried with
die hard 4.0
and
The 5th. element
IMDB and TMDB has the full cast / director info ...
I work with dummy iso files, like the 5th element.bluray.mpg but i think that is not the problem ...
Any hint's ?

Could you post the generated .nfo file to http://www.pastebin.com, then post that link here for review?
I checked out the .nfo files for the actual iso images I have in my collection...all of them have proper director and cast listings.

MIP doesn't load actors and directors for the most of my new added movies ...
Example: Lord of the Rings
MIP doesn't find any actors and director
IMDB and TMDB has all the info's that i want ...

That would be my guess...although TMDB still has all the pertinent info. Unless castdata is still gathered from IMDB.

I honestly don't know if fekker uses TMDB or IMDB for his data-gathering.
It is very possible. TMDB has quite the robust API. I just personally don't know where the info comes from.

OK I am still really trying to get to grips with this programme.
In tunes, how do I add an artist image? I have some on my desktop and there seems to be no way.
Where there is not artist image its defaulting to some cheesy stage picture with some 'the boss' wannabe on there, this is really upsetting.
How do I get this info into my library? All I can seem to sucessfully achieve is adding back drops from HT backdrops.

Since my previous post got ignored, I'll post again. Does anyone know how to get MIP to update ONLY the IMDB ratings for movies? I tried doing the auto pilot and update imdb and studio data only, but it doesn't change anything. I have 141 movies and clicking refresh on each one every so often is a long process.

After I load and scan all my TV shows I get a popup telling me what shows and episodes failed to be recognised. The specials are fine as TVDB has minimal support for them but how can I manually search for shows that fail?
My folder structure is South Park S01-S013 or The Office US S01 S02 S03 S04 S05 so sometimes it must confuse the program. I know Media Companion had the ability to define search terms for shows, does MIP have anything similar?

Hello there! I wouldn't like to be boring or anything, but I noticed there's currently perhaps 4 or 5 programs to work on films - and no programs to work on music for XBMC... Any chance the music part of MIP gets fixed any time soon?
