Where did the 1024x768 resolution go - pancus - 2009-03-22

This used to be in older builds but seems to have disappeared. When I add it manually to userdata/guisettings.xml it is ignored and then overwritten when xbmc is closed.

And starting with -fs ignores the fact that it's set to 1024x768 and just goes larger then the screen itself without changing resolution.

And to shoot down anyone saying "use 720p" the tv is natively 1024x768 and looks best at that res. Don't ask me I wouldn't have bought it Laugh

what does 'xrandr -q' say? Should mention that 1024x768, else it is not detected by X/xbmc and you won't have that option, however you may force it with a modeline in xorg.conf.

The resolution in xorg is 1024x768, it's just that xbmc itself is not setting to that size. Nor does it seem to allow that setting.

I will run "xrandr -q" next chance I get.
