XBMC 9.10 codename suggestions, location in a TV Show (or Movie?) begining with a "C" - strateego - 2009-04-22 The release schedule page for the next version 9.10 needs a code name. And the page says it should reference a movie and start with the letter 'C' ( http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=9.10_Release_Schedule ). I think the code name for the next release should be "Camelot". It follows the movie theme, by referencing the 1967 movie with Richard Harris (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061439/) and follows the second theme of mythical cities, i.e. Atlantis & Babylon. Anyone else think XBMC 9.10 Camelot has a nice ring to it? - Bram77 - 2009-04-22 Sounds nice - zitroneneis - 2009-04-22 sounds good to me - frostwork - 2009-04-22 "Camelot" sounds good, but I'd also like to suggest "Casablanca" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0034583/ ) - midgetspy - 2009-04-23 Babylon isn't a mythical city... - strateego - 2009-04-23 You should stop pointing out my logical flaws. - djdanger - 2009-04-26 just one more thing... Columbo - pike - 2009-04-26 .:Cassiopeia:.
my 5 eurocents - natethomas - 2009-04-26 Capricorn? - stoli - 2009-04-26 Caprica...?? - mkortstiege - 2009-04-26 +1 Caprica - Bram77 - 2009-04-26 Caprica is hot - eriksmith200 - 2009-04-26 Casper the Friendly Ghost - Bagger - 2009-04-26 Colossus: The Forbin Project - Justcop - 2009-04-27 These 3 articles show all the locations which fit within the theme of lost/fictional cities. Camelot looks like the best bet for C, maybe Carthage but no notable films. We're going to struggle along these lines for future letters, maybe Eden for E but I can't see an obvious D. Not quite as easy as Ubuntu's animal theme http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_cities http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_city_(fiction) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythical_place |
