lupick Wrote:Dear All

I've T3CH XBMC 2009-06-27 SVN rev21142 running on a xbox connected to a LCD32".

in the system setting I've enabled 720p and 1080.

With this configuration the plugin is unable to play any stream.
If I uncheck the 1080 and I keep only the 720p everything is working; unfortunately my samsung LCD has got some bad quality problem with this confguration (it seems with "no focus")

any idea??
thanks

L.

I'm not sure. Post a debug.

adambasord Wrote:id like to add it also crashes xbmc when a stream stops broadcasting this can be a big pain in the ass when you are watching a seetoo stream because the guy has to basicly restart broadcasting to start a new video

would it be possible do anything about that?

Can you also post a debug log next time this occurs?

I updated to the newest xbmc build on xbox, and now no videos work. Audio will play on half of them, but no video. When the stream starts, the info bar pops up(which never used to) showing the thumbnail, and says "app" as the title. And I am getting a lot of freezing when I try to load up channels.

I've also noticed thumbnails are not refreshing. Many have not changed for days.

If you would read the last few posts, you will see that those issues have been addressed and fixed.

I didn't see anyone mention anything about only audio working. Thumbnail and freezing problems have been mentioned, but I'm only bringing that up now because I am using the newest build of xbmc and the newest plugin version, and I am still I am having those problems as of today, so either the new xbmc build screwed it up, or they are not completely fixed. It was working fine before I updated the build, so I think that is the problem.

I never experience the audio problems. Is it happening to all channels or some? Try using the win32 build on the same channel that has the audio problem. I want to test if it's just a issue with the xbox.

Anyone else having this problem?

It happens on every channel. I get no video, it shows visualizations.

someone from the iplayer thread said that the audio problem has been fixed.

in the lastest svn build for XBOX ONLY r21810, the DVD player is broken. everything using the dvd player only plays the audio and will show visualizations if you have them enabled for playing audio. you'll have to roll back to a previous build or update to r21819 if you want to use anything that utilizes the dvd player. see trac ticket

Thanks! Yeah I updated to 21829, and it is now working again.

record justin.tv stream - lupick - 2009-07-22

Dear All,

I wonder if it could be possible to record the stream on the xbox...

or implementing the "old" feature of justin that allow to review streaming of till 7 days ago.

Regards

L.

The jtv Archives thing would be a little tricky to do. It would be easier for xbmc to record the rtmp stream. But, I don't know it would be possible to record and play at the same time.

Make a xbmc feature request to record rtmp streams and then I can go from there.

For anyone whos been having problems with XBMC crashing when a justin.tv stream goes offline this seems to be been fixed in the windows version of XBMC XBMC-Rev21857.zip

if u need to update u can grab this from http://danielpatton.com/user-accounts/XBMC-updates/

and the latest version of the jtv script from http://plugin.googlecode.com/files/Justin.tv_v1.4.7.zip or the svn repo installer

Tested on Windows 7 RTM x64
