SlaveUnit Wrote:If you want to upload the images somewhere and have them labeled correctly I can put them into the textures file. There are the current ones in English. Im not sure since you are using French if the title would be in French or English. But we can try them both. So once you post them I will put them into the textures and send a new textures file to you.

Thanks a lot for being so reactive...what a support Shocked

I try to put my custom genre images in a folder named "moviegenre" in the media directory : it works for all the genre which have a different name that the ones in the texture.xpr (ex : my image appear for Aventure, but for not for Action, which is actually the same word in french)

So i think you just have to delete the moviegenre and the musicgenre folders from the texture.xpr and it will be fine for me Nod

And it's a more "universal" solution...it will save you from having to do a lot of personalised texture.xpr Wink

Thanks again Smile

Here is a new textures without the moviegenres folder. Rememer if you upgrade it will go back to the old one. So make sure not to erase this file. If there is something drastic in the textures file you need Im sure one of us can do this again with an updated one.

Thanks a lot ! Smile

But just one question : why keeping these folders in the texture.xpr ?
If they were in the media directory as folders, everybody could easily choose which images to use...

- deubeul - 2009-08-16

It works perfectly for the movie genre, but not for music genre...
Sorry if i have not been explicit, but i also use custom music genre images, so if you could re-up a texture.xpr without musicgenre, you would definitely make my day Wink

Im not exactly sure why there are texture files. Maybe ask a real dev because I sure as hell am not.

Here is the file without the music or moves genres.

Thanks for being so quick Smile

But this file is only 2.9 mb ? Eek

- SlaveUnit - 2009-08-16

Yup 2.9MB is correct. Those genre pictures take up most of the textures file.

It works perfectly !

Thanks a lot, and keep doing good work Wink

FragMenthor Wrote:Hi, Aenima99x:

I have a feature suggestion for your skin (since it's the one i'm using on the xbox), that maybe other skins that use skin based media flagging can use too:

On the IncluesMediaFlagging.xml it would be usefull to add:
- "filename.DVDRip.avi" - dvd.png
- "filename.BRRip.avi" - bluray.png

And it would be needed 4 more "source" icons:
- "filename.DVDR5.avi" - r5.png (audio not so goog normally...)
- "filename.SCREENNER.avi" - dvdscreener.png (video with watermarks or logos...)
- "filename.CAM.avi" - cam.png
- "filename.TS.avi" - ts.avi

This would be useful to know the real source of our files (and for the user to check if there is a better source available from time to time).

Since I am obssessed with this, here is my try (it works for me and my friends...):

I also packed the new Portuguese translation, because the old one, that's in the source, has an incorrect enconding.

THANKS!

Just curious is there skin based flagging for media info view? Oh and is there a way to have a single image behind the library mode. What i mean is I use media info view and i select only small fanart, but behind my movie list i have random fanart, what i want is just a single image behind the movie list with small fanart showing in media info view. I do have it set up on the main movie button to use multiimage dont know if that makes a difference or not. Im using an xbox if that matters.

Skin flagging = No, only for the source field.

The rest of your question. Why not just try the skin? Its not like you have to change much to test it.

It's ONLY for the source - the rest, of course, stays as is! Have you tryied the files I sent?

If this is directed to me i have had this skin since it was out. So your saying that only the source should show up for media info view, if so it does not.

anyway i just want a static image for the background when you view movies, but still have small fanart and multiview for the home movie button.

is it possible
thanx
