You had a ZX81, lucky fella. My meagre pocket money couldn't afford one of them. I had to do, what seemed like, a lifetime of paperounds to get my Speccy 48K. I sometimes play the Speccy emulator on my xbox -- I wonder if I can spruce it up with some fan-art?

Well, i really enjoy v1.03! The graphical overhaul is very nice and i really like the details you've put into the skin, like the animation of the now working screen and of the submenu.

So far everything seems smooth (as always) on the xbox with animated weather icons and recently added module disabled.

Tiny thing i noticed: i cannot change the default backdrop of the "video plugins" menu item. The path to another backdrop can be chosen but eventually the default backdrop will be shown on the homescreen.

For the record: After updating from v1.00 to v1.03 i noticed lag while scrolling the homescreen. I decided to do a clean install of xbmc and install the native v1.03 and everything was smooth again.

thanks ronie, you're the best!

yadster Wrote:Thanks for this. Works a treat and it means that I can just have media and weather on the home screen which imho looks better and keeps meddling hands from messing things up. Smile

exactly what i was thinking...multiple XBMC users here, but i don't want them messing with settings :p

First Transparency! MOD available soon!

I was already wondering what took you guys so long, but it seems the first one will see the light pretty soon.

The-Boxhead has done a great job in taking Transparency! to a whole new direction, so a big congrats to him!

Be sure to check it out: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=56005

That mod is coming along nicely. The homescreen looks good.

I just wish mods where located in the Tranparency section so they are easier to find, but thats just my opinion. Big Grin

The-Boxhead has gone far beyond the point of just being a Tranparency! MOD.
It will be a new skin when it's released.

Kinda like what happened with Transparency!, it was initially released as a PM3.HD mod, but everybody felt it should become a new skin...and so it did. :-)

Wow, finally got the video. Its like Transparency, but not. Wink

Is there any easy way to set the transparency of the background image? I like what he did, but I don't want it that white personally. Still really cool thou. I'll give it a spin when it comes out.

if you alter the transparency level of the background, it will turn to black instead of white. ;-)

what you need to do is add a semi transparent white overlay on top of the background.

Ive tried every ListItem.Label and then delete that control in ViewsVideoLibrary.xml to see if that is he right control but unless I messed up I couldn't find the block of code for what I circled in red. Any help would be great, thx.
