And yeah, I have to use 1.4 because the remote crashes in 1.5 for me.

Much have happened since freezy joined and he have done an awesome job adding the new cool album view (which is disabled in build due to it's not perfectly finished).

Yep, very nice update !!
Remote is working and did test it. There are some problems.
Rewind - doesn't work and also changes to play button ones u push it, very strange.
Play - Works fine.
Forward - doesn't work.
Skip- - doesn't work.
Stop - doesn't work.
Pause - doesn't work.
Skip+ - doesn't work.
Title - doesn't work and is switch with Menu.
Info - works, but only not in home screen should give me system info.
Arrows - works great.
select - works great.
Menu - works, but has the function of title and In video while playing movie it should give me streamdetails.
Back - works great.
Display - Really need the button. Can't go in /out visualisation <fullscreen> also not possible with keyboard (very nice btw), it's the Tab button and that one doesn't work on my g1 cause you need the alt button for it. Have a customized keymap letter D is also <fullscreen> but that doesn't work either.
Scrollball - Very nice that I can use it trough is to sensitive IMO.
Did test the remote buttons in music / video .

Nope nothing wrong with my keymap, did also tried default keymap.
Btw did test on my xbox.
Give it also a try on my windows platform and here none of the remote buttons work.
(Music/videos/pictures works fine). And yep also tried with default keymap.
All my other remotes works fine.

I'm wondering, how does this compare to the iPhone remote? Is the iPhone remote much more advanced or is there no big difference? Are you planning on implementing most features from the iPhone app as well or will you go a different route? I'll buy a new phone soon and so far the Moto Sholes is my fav. But I just saw a clip of the iPhone remote in action and wow, it looks hawt.

Actually I just rewrote the whole remote control. You need to take the latest revision. Or maybe topfs can upload another build?

I just updated to the latest version and this is really amazing. I used the Boxee/XBMC Remote from the Market before and this one is so much better. Will there be a release to the Android Market as well (would help with keeping up-to-date)?

I am testing the remote on windows with eclipse and on the htc with the latest versions. XBMC is running on linux and has an activated web server. Port, user and password are correct. I can browse through the pictures and I can see the Version of XBMC on the homescreen, its XBMC 9.04.1.r20654. If I select remote, nothing happens on XBMC when I press the navigate-buttons.
Is there anything more I have to do, to get the remote running ?
