Request:
I would like to see the option to hide the "Settings" from the Home Menu returned. I only ever access it from the context menu so having it in the Home Menu only clutters it in my eyes and exposes it to destructive forces (a.k.a. "meddling kids, computer illiterate relatives and drunken guests")

popper Wrote:I had this problem too, It came from using ProjectM visualisation with the new SVN. They've changed it to milkdrop or something.

Basically to fix, do not use ProjectM vis

You will get similar crashes running win32 vis' on DX builds and vice versa

Hm, but I have disabled all visualisations. Confused

nekrosoft13 Wrote:temmi2000, can you add Polish font support? Polish letters are missing.

No, I won´t do that. Would need an updated polish strings.xml as well. If someone wants to do a polish version, I´d gladly integrate it.

Will re-add that perhaps.

Tried this one, but the performance is worse then the Hitched mod version. Is there a reason for that?

Dannydeman Wrote:Tried this one, but the performance is worse then the Hitched mod version. Is there a reason for that?

Yes (more flags, CDArt mod on Home Screen and more..)

@Dannydeman: My guess you're slowed down by some hardware specs. On powerful computers, the skin runs smooth and slick (xbmc had some 'under-the-hood' tweaks recently, I'm amazed how smooth the LowList works). Somehow, all the features and tweaks explains the performances when compare to Hitcher's mod.

- Dannydeman - 2009-10-29

Yeah you are right, I'm on mobile hardware since I use my laptop as Mediacenter. It has a Ati 3450, so DXVA works fine. But all the graphical elements in Aeon are putting it to it's limits, especially because the output is 1920x1080..

In the past I was never able to use Aeon in the first place, with the latest DX build it actually runs fine (didn't use XBMC for months, so they improved it a lot it seems).

This particular mod is unfortunately to much at the moment, so I stick with Hitcheds version for now.

Do you need the complete logfile?

complete logfile - Haelge - 2009-10-29

Here you can download another complete logfile (67KB).

I have removed some items (ERROR: m_pD3DDevice->BeginScene() failed) because the log has a filesize about 97MB.

If your talking about browsing movies tv etc then turn off fanart, its fanart that slows it down I tweak my mods on a not so powerful laptop and can zip through movies with fanart off but with it on it struggles you could always add your own custom backdrop instead of fanart

Flags don't seem to make much difference to me I've added a couple extra lol

DX or GL build?

DX

I'm using this skin now, and its pretty much perfect, however I seem to have no multiplex view for tv shows? Its there for movies... i this intentional, I seem to remember it being there!
