xbmc is the reason, bug is fixed in SVN builds.

use the installer with that patch included (see first page), splash screens aren´t handled by the skins. Don´t know exactly why this patch isn´t added to the SVN yet, has to do with resolution problems i think.

I guess the forum reverted back to february after the meltdown. Anyways I have a problem with this otherwise excellent mod/skin.
My backdrop folder is working just fine browsing the main menu: videos, movies, tv-shows, etc (custom movie stills). But it does NOT work when i'm in the library (movie) view. Library view gives you 3 options for a background: off, fanart and backdrop. Choosing backdrop just gives me a red curtain and no option of specifying a path to my custom backdrop folder?
How do you use a custom backdrop within library view?

Is there a preferred install method for getting AEON65 on XBMC Live?
I've copied the AEON skin files from my windows xbmc folder to to the XBMC live box via SFTP but I have countless crashes. None of which happen on the windows box.
Anyone able to shed some light on my problems?

Log on to the machine over ssh then:
sudo apt-get install git-core
cd /home/xbmc/.xbmc/skin/
sudo git clone --depth 1 git://github.com/temmi2000/aeon.git "Aeon65"
This will copy the git repo to your skins folder, if you bugger it up or want to upgrade simply: cd into the Aeon65 folder and sudo git pull to update.

2nd: I have a feature request -
I have all my movies titles in portuguese and the original titles in the movie native language and I would like the possibility to show both the "Original Title" and the "Title" on movies. I know that this wasn't possible before middle of February when they updated the infolabels with the listitem.originaltitle.

Try switching to the Confluence skin, just to check if its the skin causing the crash or your xbmc install.
