My Bulgarian girlfriend is very happy and can catch any difficults bits in English now. Very impressed with the XBMC now. Thanks for the advice. NP Glad you find it useful. - isamu.dragon - 2009-11-23 Amet Wrote:Confluence Skin Hackthanks, Love this plugin - hentar - 2009-11-24 Hi, Amet. I've found your great plugin and it made the whole process of obtaining subtitles a lot easier. However, I wanted to be able to choose 3 languages and not 2, as I fluently speak 2 foreign lang. and, in case there are no appropriate subs for one of them, I want to get an English ones that are almost always available. So, I've played a little with the script (1.42) and added this option. As much as I tested it works good for me. I've also created a russian translation file. Is it possible to commit these changes to main script's trunk? I quite sure that I'm not the only one who'll find this useful It'll be pain in the ass to patch it for every version Changed files are gui.py, osdb.py and settings.xml You can get the patched script (including russian) from http://rapidshare.com/files/311297842/OpenSubtitles_OSD_3lang.zip.html or http://rapidshare.de/files/48729952/OpenSubtitles_OSD_3lang.zip.html If there is any problem, please give me your email and I'll send it to you. EDIT: I've also created an svn patch file to make it easier and uploaded it to pastebin: http://pastebin.com/m57466314 As for translation file - get it from rapidshare links above or give me your email as pastebin insists to encode foreign lang. chars so I can't put it there Thanks! - amet - 2009-11-24 hentar Wrote:Hi, Amet. Great! added in SVN and Google code page, Thanks - tamos - 2009-11-24 hi can i manually type movie name in the search box? Because the names of my films is in Hebrew, the script does not support Hebrew and he cant search for it.. - amet - 2009-11-24 tamos Wrote:hi yes you can. enable manual search under script settings - hentar - 2009-11-24 You welcome One more thing - I had a problem with sublight and one of my movies. The problem was there because file name contained an '&' char and it have to be escaped, otherwise script hangs. Patch is here: http://pastebin.com/m31819730 Thanks. - amet - 2009-11-24 hentar Wrote:You welcome Thanks! - blierp - 2009-11-25 i'm having trouble installing the Confluence skin hack in mac os x. I assume you have to copy the supplied files to the XBMC package in your Applications folder. At least that's where i was able to find the rest of the Confluence skin files. If i replace the existing files with the skin hack XBMC fails to start. Any pointers? The script works perfectly with the PM3.HD skin. I was thinking, isn't there a keyboard shortcut to open the opensubtitles dialog when watching a movie/tv show? Then i don't need the skin hack since i use a bluetooth keyboard to control XBMC. My XBMC version is 9.11 b1 - amet - 2009-11-25 blierp Wrote:i'm having trouble installing the Confluence skin hack in mac os x. Do not copy folders to skin/confluence, just copy the files from those folders. VideoOSD.xml goes to skin/confluence/720p(backup the old one) and two "png" files from media folder need to go to skin/confluence/media If you read few pages back there was a solution to run the script via keyboard , pushing "s" would activate the script. Hope that helps, and welcome to the forums Zeljko - blierp - 2009-11-25 thanks for the quick reply Amet. Forgive me for being unclear but i did exactly that, i just replaced the existing files from the Confluence skin. Using the keyboard shortcut will be enough for me though; no need for the skin hack then. Thanks for providing us with this excellent script! - amet - 2009-11-25 blierp Wrote:thanks for the quick reply Amet. Glad you like it Strange that the XBMC wont start after you replaced VideoOSD.xml and added those two files. do you mind posting the debug log, see my signature, maybe there is something wrong with it. No one has complained so far. Zeljko - blierp - 2009-11-25 Will do, it will be tonight before i post it because i'm not at home right now. - mnegrisoli - 2009-11-25 Hi ! When I found the subtitle on opensubtitles.org and select to downloads, it´s been on "downloading" eternally. This is not happened when I found in the sublight (only on opensubtitles ...) So, I go to opensubtitles website and do the download manually Is it a issue of opensubtitles.org website or I missed something ? Thanks ! - amet - 2009-11-25 mnegrisoli Wrote:Hi ! Not sure, need to see the debug log. |
