I've found my 'problem'. I copied the folder from the zip instead of the files. I forgot OS X is not merging the folders like Linux does, it just replaces the entire thing. The script is working flawless now.

estuardo Wrote:Thank you for your help. Do you know if tvsubtitles has an API? How hard is to program a script for it? Maybe I can help.

Not exactly an API, but MP-TVSeries (a MediaPortal plugin) did implement a tvsubtitles search. Check their google code project page:

Not downloading - JoaoGuilherme - 2009-11-29

Hi Amet!

Thanks for the script, very usefull!

Could you help me with a problem? In many times I've got that problem that other users relate, that is, after obtaining the results of the query, I click on the desired subtitle, the messaging "Donwload subtitle..." is displayed but nothing more happens. This error does not occur always.

Here is the debug log:
http://jgslima.centelia.net/xbmc.zip

I was wondering it this could be just a problem with my internet connection, but I don't believe so. That's because, to check it, I used a proxy to monitor the HTTP requests, and, in the times when the download of the subtitle succeeds, I can see the HTTP request to download the subtitle. And, when the download does not occur in XBMC, in fact there's no HTTP request.

Thanks man!

I dont see anything obviously wrong in the log, it could be the OpenSubtitles website. do you have the problems with other services?

Thanks man. I'm gonna try to figure out what is happening.

Issues with Mediastream Redux and MOD OSD - Sneakee - 2009-12-04

I seem to be getting script error messages with the Mediastream Redux and Mediastream Redux MOD opensubtitle_OSD. The script works fine when I use Project Mayhem 3 but when I switch to those Skins it gives the same errors.
I'm using Xbox, 720p resolution, I'm hoping its not a ram issue as it performs fine otherwise.
I have the hacks installed into both skins as well as well as Project Mayhem 3 and PM3.HD and they work fine with no issue.
I'll get a debug log tonight if you need one.

OpenSubtitles_OSD for Portuguese (Brazil) - ecsousa - 2009-12-06

Hello,

I've having some issues with OpenSutiles_OSD: whenever I try to download a subtitle with language Portuguese (Brazil), and provider OpenSubtiles, it can't download (it shows the message downloading subtitle, and never stops). But with English subtitles, it has no problem.

Does anyone known what is the problem?

Thanks,

ecsousa

Hello, thank you for that script.
It'd be so nice if you'd add tvsubtitles.net
Can you add it?

I dont think so, it doesnt have Serbian subs on it Smile

I think we covered this site already, it doesnt have the API that we can use to search and download. besides it has total of 95000 subs vs Opensubtitles 950000. not worth the effort IMO
