xalaros Wrote:I am confused, this seems to work as you put it, but i am using 1.44 and when i search for a tvshow episode in podnapisi i get zero results as i pointed out on my previous post. Could you please confirm that you get the proper results using your installed version?? anyway when i get back home from work i will look into it a bit more.

one thing to remember, in the above example we have not specified language.

http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/search?tbsl=1&sK=sanctuary&sJ=0&sY=&sTS=2&sTE=7&sXML=1 is all languages

http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/search?tbsl=1&sK=sanctuary&sJ=2&sY=&sTS=2&sTE=7&sXML=1 is english results only

the difference is in "&sJ=0" 0=all, 1 = slovenian, 2= english ...

What language are you searching for?

ok just returned home and i made a clear xbmc.log with just one search for podnapisi.net it is in timecode 19:48:20

It seems when i load the search string on the browser i get one result for english but on the OSD in xbmc it says Zero results found.

New version of Showix 2.5 - panos_k75 - 2009-12-09

Hi

Could we possibly have a fix for the new Aeon Showmix skin (version 2.5?). It's currently on beta and can be downloaded at:

http://www.showmix-project.com/news.php

I have tried the zip for the older version of that skin and although the script works great the OSD looks completely messed up.

Many thanks

I will see what I can do, but its best to ask on official Aeon Showmix forum for support of the script.

Amet Wrote:you said that podnapisi service fails, correct? I dont see you trying to run it at all in this log.

try to replicate the problem you are having and then post the log again.

Cheers,
Zeljko

No, I'm using OpenSubtitles provider. And this is the log of the problem replicated. This log was generated by opening XBMC, played "A Hard Day's Night", accessed OpenSubtiles_OSD, and then clicked to download the first Portuguese (Brazil) subtitles found (at this point, XBMC kept frozen for more then 5 minutes).

I haven't been able to use the script for quite some time on the xbox. Archives aren't extracted (the script stops at "extracting archive") sometimes resulting in a "dummy" string where the subs should be.
Subtitles from the sublight database can't be downloaded at all because the script always gives me a message that the directory to store subs in can't be found. It suggests to reconfigure the directory but this doesn't help. Choosing a different directory does not stop the script from presenting me this suggestion.

I'll post a log asap Smile

I will wait for the log... Smile

I have, I am trying to replicate it on my side.

it looks that it fails to create the search string due to some Greek alphabet letters(u'\u0391\u03b3\u03b3\u03bb\u03b9\u03ba\u03ac'). will look into it more when I get home

Propably nothing to do with it, since i get the same result on both my computers even if i go back to the default opensubtitles_osd settings, podnapisi just refuses to produce any results for me. Anyway the only thing i can thing of is the regional settings i use in XBMC but tried also reverting character encoding grom Greek to Default and i get the same error.

This is just an incredible script.. However..!

I havent found anyone else with the same problem as me. But when i try fetching subtitles from the Opensubtitles OSD menu, while playing DVDs (video_ts) it dosen't work. No subtitles appear. However, when i do the same while playing an mkv file the script works very well. Why am i having this problem?

Im running XBMC beta1, with the 1.44 version of Opensubtitles and i have tried it in both Transparency and Confluence!..Ofcourse with the skin hack installed.

Are anyone else having this problem?

The developers refuse to provide support for this (?!?), so you are my only chance for hacking that skin. Alternatively, could I replace the functionality of one of the OSD buttons to run your script? and if yes could u please point me towards the right direction?

Many thanks
