If i go back and then press the right mouse button on backrow --->save target as...---> it gives me only one .html-File
Do i need a special tool ?

google on how to use SVN, depends on your platform.

on OSX/linux its:
Code:
svn co https://xboxmediacenter.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xboxmediacenter/Back-Row/

ubuntuf4n Wrote:i use winxp

edit: google gave me this

install this:

http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads

checkout path is:

Code:
https://xboxmediacenter.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xboxmediacenter/Back-Row/

you investigated for 2 minutes, spend few more minutes on it :p

right now i gave the tool the above mentioned checkout path...

btw: could you tell me how you are able to answer my questions that fast, ?
How do you know that i've asked anythink for example seconds ago...
do u use the >send me email when receive answers< with + yahoo/msn messenger combo or what is it ?

##########################################################################
Edit: Okay i've installed the latest version from svn and i got the new menu option in skin settings.

I went to:
Settings--> Skin Settings--->Scripts---->Choose Video Subtitle Script-->I choose then the OpenSubtitle Plugin (with .py-suffix).
After that i pushed the button for activating the script.

But where can i find the option for using it ?

While playing a movie i have only these buttons on the lower part..

I cant see the button which i have to press for open your tool.

Iam still on the backrow skin.
In my point of view everything is done, but there is still one step missing to make it run.

.. are you there ? Smile

ok, ...good night. i will look at your post tomorrow.

you subscribe to the thread, its under thread tools, towards the top of the page and receive the mail when someone has posted in it.

Thank you for your assistance.
I finally made it. I hope your my questions could also help other people at xbmc.org as they could use it as a step by step guide (especially if they're using different skins).

However, I found a little Bug, i am not sure if its a Bug in your script or in the backrow skin.

when pushing the button (the arrow on the star trek picture), the script starts automatically searching for a subtitle.
While searching and after the search only the point search by string is highlighted if i press the up/down button it doesnt change.

It still stays highlighted, but i am still able to go to the new subtitles by guessing/counting how many times i had press the down button (and then simply pressing enter).

But overall its working very good. <OpenSubtitles OSD> is on my Must-Have List. :-)

That's not normal. It's not doing it on my system's though. As in, movement and all is showing just fine. But we might want to give Amet a break with a lot of the basic questions, you don't want to overwhelm him and take time away from production. Things like SVN help shouldn't really be asked her as that's not related. As well as confusion. Some of the answered asked a few times over can be understood better when simply read over a couple times. Just take you time, you'll be alright. Nod

And thank Amet, this is a nice addition. Things are working good. Cool

Hi,

this Guy need some help with his script, because its not working properbly.

Like me, he is also a Member of the MediaCenter Forum.
Could you check his code, where it stucks... he has problems with the correct file structure (meaning installation of a .py-script in xbmc)

BTW: Its a VideoPlugin for getting streams.

Best Regards.

as he said, the plugin is not working due to the changes in website structure.

Hi. This scipt has been broken for quite a while now. Is there any progress on fixing it? I don't know if it is a python in XBMC error or of it's the fault of OSOSD.

What happens is that when I start to watch a video and push the OSOSD button all is fine, I can choose a subtitle and watch my episode. But when it's finished and I want to watch another episode after that and push the OSOSD button XBMC freezes and crashes.

Happens everytime. I have to restart XBMC after watching a tv-episode or movie if I would like to watch another after, using your lovely script.

In every Debug Log I get this:
09:46:54 T:11988 M:781426688 ERROR: CThread:ConfusedtaticThread : Access violation at 0x0077c433: Writing location 0x0a6784e8
09:46:54 T:11988 M:781426688 DEBUG: Thread 11988 terminating

http://pastebin.com/f3dbc3df3
in the above Debug Log XBMC actually doesn't crash but the OSOSD does, Can't bring it up on any video until I have restarted XBMC. XBMC mostly crashes the second time though.

I am sorry that you are having this issue, it works fine on my side(ATV and OSX) I will investigate over the weekend.

I would love to know if anyone else has this issue on Win.
