I was wondering if at all there is any support for 16x10 monitors in regards to the rendering of skin images like fan-art, it is obvious for the video player just to add some black bars top and bottom but I don't know if it is as easy for the skin engine. - ronie - 2009-09-05 gott_sei_dank Wrote:I was wondering if at all there is any support for 16x10 monitors in regards to the rendering of skin images like fan-art, it is obvious for the video player just to add some black bars top and bottom but I don't know if it is as easy for the skin engine. as far as i know a skin can only be designed for a fixed number of resolutions: PAL, NTSC, PAL 16x9, NTSC 16x9, 720p and 1080i. most of the currently available (newer) skins are 720p only. - gott_sei_dank - 2009-09-05 Thanks for that ronie, I'll just have to choose fan-art which isn't chopping off the top of peoples head. - ronie - 2009-09-05 gott_sei_dank Wrote:Thanks for that ronie, I'll just have to choose fan-art which isn't chopping off the top of peoples head. fanart should be at 1280x720 or 1920x1080 for the best result. - dj_gerbil - 2009-09-05 Ronnie, disabled the weather plus plugin this morning and my systems been running fine all day as a result. Hopefully that's problem solved. Thanks again. Problem - Derek - 2009-09-05 Hi there, New skin is awesome but i have 2 small problems. When i hit the info button watching ANY tv show i get a big white box where as the old version it was just a transparent part? Also in movie list i get the odd white box where the studio or something should be? Any ideas? Cheers Derek - thonton - 2009-09-05 hey ronie, thanks for the great 2.00 version :-) but one question, what about the color themes we talked about? i think, its a lot of work?! - ronie - 2009-09-06 Derek Wrote:Hi there, very interesting... could you fix me a Debug Log? enable debuglogging, restart xbmc, reproduce the two problems and post the log to pastebin.com - Thomss - 2009-09-06 Thanks Ronie, could somebody please tell me how to disable the weather.com plus plugin.
