the skin is probably getting way too many downloads ;-)
Transparency! v1.0x would get about 100 downloads on an average day, but ever since the release of v2.00 and the exposure on xbmc.org downloads are increasing rapidly.
it's had 900 downloads in the last 24 hours!
anyway, an alternate dowload is available here

Ronie - my apologies the auto scrolling does indeed work - I didn't realise this should be activated via the skin setting on the Settings page (hidden menu on the left of the page)
Joe - might be worth checking to ensure that this is checked - certainly did the trick for me.

Hi, Firstly, great skin. The only problem I'm finding is I'm getting random system freezes in Windows. Now I know there is an issue concerning the weather plugin and the recently added bit, but I don't have the recently added thingy enabled, although I do have the weather plugin enabled. All was working fine with 1.03 so I'm wondering if its down to the weather plugin?? Has anyone else had this problem?

could you disable the weather.com plugin for a while and see if the freezes go away?
please report back with the results. :-)
i don't have all the details, but it has something to do with running two scripts at the same time, so it may not be limited to just the weather plugin and the recently added script.

Well, it took me a few days, but I finally got Transparency 2.00 installed, as well as the lastest OSD-subtitles...
Wow... this is couch potato perfection!!!
I don't thing there's one thing you could do right now to improve the skin (until XBMC adds features)... Take a vacation, you've earned it!

Hello... i also have random system freezes in Windows. I'm gonna disable weather plugin and see if crash occure again. Sometime crash occure immidietaly after press left or right arrow to change menu... Sometime works 2 hours without any problems. I'm using Windows 7 RTM build 7600, last version XBMC 22528 and transparency! 2.00.
Another problem is that MP3 music won't start. I can list all music in my comp but when i press enter to start song, nothing happend. Everything else running ok.
any suggestion ?

Interesting you say that Pizza, my mac mini locks up every time I use this skin, which is a shame as it's soooooo good.
I'll post more info when I get a moment at home.

to anyone who's experiencing crashes / lockups, disable the weather.com plus plugin
and check if the issue goes away.
as stated before, it's a known issue and not related to the skin. ;-)
