Like it very much, the only thing i'm missing at the moment is the option for scrolling the plots in movies and tvshows.
Anyway i cannot find it in the system settings.

Huh Really? The homescreen fonts look really similar, but other than that?

- ronie - 2009-09-22

i think the home menu looks a bit like Aeon's
the horizontal top-menu definitely reminds me of Serenity
i'm using a similar transparent background panel in Transparency!
and i'm pretty sure i've seen those media flags before in PM3.HD

...hope this ends another useless discussion. ;-)

How about github'ing this thing ... - oo_void - 2009-09-22

Great work Scarfa, your creation brings together the best parts of Aeon and Mediastream into a very well polished package. I especially like break from the current monochromatic tread with the use of text coloring, something you see in a lot of Meedios skins that's made me tempted to give that platform a try.

I do have one request, but it's not a design change or feature request -- can you get this thing up on github? Yes there is a bit of a learning curve, but as Hitcher and others have found, it's well worth the effort. This will make it much easier for users to keep up to date with any changes you make. It also creates a great distribution path for downstream modders and those who like to make the occasional tweak to the skin without locking them out of an upgrade path.

Works well. does not show the backgrounds as specified though cause I'm using the stable build probably. But everything else is quite smooth (smoother than Aeon on my specs at least) so I think this'll be a keeper Smile Just migrated from Aeon -> Media Stream -> Focus -> This. Thanks!

Someone requested integration with OpenSubtitles_OSD (cant remember who). Will this do?

Nerd
Looks good to me. As a user of OpenSubtitles_OSD, the main thing that matters is it being legible and functional. If those things are in place, as long as you as the skinner are pleased with the result, then great!

ps. I wasn't the one that made the initial request, but I was about search and see if anyone had previously asked about this...

I think bitching the skin looks a bit like another skin is a bit pointless, at all stages you will get cross overs. Further more I don't see how this looks or behaves like mediastream at all. For one its quick.

- scarfa - 2009-09-22

Safari browser looks alot like Firefox since they both have tabs, just saying. Wink

- spiff - 2009-09-22

you're using fonts! i did that in my skin first, please credit me kthx.

- tmc701 - 2009-09-22

It probably isn't on the docket for the new version you're working on... Would you consider skinning the TWC weather plugin in your Rapier style?

On a side note... saying a skin looks similar to another (especially as skin with this much polish) is ridiculous. I want to rant against such ineptitude, but that would be feeding the trolls. (and off topic...)

Again, Scarfa, brilliant work. Looking forward to the upcoming tweaks.

I haven't used this plugin. Can you post a screenshot to show what features it adds?

Cool, where can I download the skin files?!

Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near my setup right now... but here's a link to a gallery of Jezz_x's skinning of the TWC plugin: http://img504.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=screenshot022b.jpg (These screens are after you've 'loaded' the plugin)

And ronie decided to skin it within the weather page of Transparancy: http://s687.photobucket.com/albums/vv237/roniez/Transparency/?action=view&current=weather.jpg

More info on the Weather.com Plus plugin can be found here.
