Subtitles flag - grupy - 2009-10-03 What causes the subtitles flag to appear? I have several movies that have subtitles and other metadata icons appear except for this one I noticed. I can play my subtitles fine or disable them so its not like XBMC doesnt view them. Im using T! v2.0 (full) on XBOX platform on a patched nightly build (22485). - ronie - 2009-10-03 the subtitles should be detected by the media metadata extraction code in xbmc. note: the code doesn't work for dvd's (.vob files) - grupy - 2009-10-04 I dont have files as vobs for my movies. I figured the metadata extraction code would pick them up. Ill try a refresh. My subtitles are *.srt files and labelled exactly like my movies - zeus[x] - 2010-11-11 anyway to make this work? - ronie - 2010-11-11 zeus[x];642634 Wrote:anyway to make this work? nope, xbmc does not detect external sutitles files. - zeus[x] - 2010-11-12 Too bad, i have to close xbmc all the time to check if a movie have or not subtitles. would be easier is we have a flag with that info. thanks! - ronie - 2010-11-12 zeus[x];642939 Wrote:Too bad, i have to close xbmc all the time to check if a movie have or not subtitles. would be easier is we have a flag with that info. you can always post a request in the Feature Requests forum. edit: there's already a ticket for it: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/8472 |
