- Vincent81 - 2010-05-28 Hello Everything you say is not normal! Normally Windev dlls are only in "c:\Program Files\xbne\" and other dll in "c:\Program Files\xbne\DLL\" Have you the rights to "c:\Program Files\" ? if you copy all files of xbne in "c:\xbne\", is it ok ? Re: Startup problems - nicolyon - 2010-05-28 Hello, I'm administrator so i ave all rights I try copy to c:\xbne and start it, it always copy it self to %TEMP% with Windev DLL It's seem to auto extract/copy dll and exe (as ptf??.tmp) into the temp directory and replace the current process xbne.exe by the ptf??.tmp i say this because if i launch it with dependency walker i see the process replace and so the key used to store information about the application into the registry is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Vincent81\ptf?? not HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Vincent81\xbne. And the more strange is when the process xbne is launched after the install process it is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Vincent81\xbne and don't replace the process by a ptf??.tmp .... ?? = number See You - rflores2323 - 2010-05-28 Does this work on Linux yet? Is this on the roadmap to have it work on linux? - Vincent81 - 2010-05-28 @rflores2323 No, linux is'nt in Roadmap, (TV Show, in progress) @nicolyon In XBNE directory, you must have this: It's OK ? Re - nicolyon - 2010-05-28 Yes i have this in the xbne directory i can let you use my computer with an vnc access if you want see mail me to nicolyon at free.fr And so i Will try in virtual machine to see if i got the same problem - nicolyon - 2010-05-29 I try in virtual machine and the problems don't reproduce it's only on my computer... - jwhitt12 - 2010-06-01 I am curious. I have downloaded this program and then noticed that one screen offered to "replace" all my videos. At that point I stopped although I suspect what that means is that it will replace all my existing data, in the XBMC database. (I obviously would prefer not to replace any videos I might have) So, my question is, again obviously, does it actually replace videos or just data about the videos? Thank you................ - Vincent81 - 2010-06-01 Hello, When he asks this question ? Have you a screenshot ? anyway, it only works with the XBMC database, not with videos. - nicolyon - 2010-06-01 I don't known how to delete this post ;o) - jwhitt12 - 2010-06-01 Vincent81 Wrote:Hello, You might want to change the english captions to something like "Replace Video Data", etc. Better yet, just insert an info line stating that it only deals with the database. Thanks for the reply! - bertrand - 2010-06-02 I just want to post some feedback. As a french user, I've been using XBNE for a looong time now. I don't use it connected to my database, as it really takes too much time to parse it on startup, but only to edit local NFO files. While it may appear bloated on first sight, the author has put LOTS of efforts into it, and let's face the truth: it really gets the job done. Donc félicitations, même si le langage me fait toujours bizarre (je parle de WinDev, pas du français :p) - Vincent81 - 2010-06-03 Windev is not so bad finally, it is not multi-platform, but it allows rapid development. New Version 9.1.9.0 with TheMovieDB API 2.1 and somme corrections. - Vincent81 - 2010-06-04 A new version: 9.2.0.0 can be downloaded. I added the profile management in XBMC. If you've enabled profiles in XBMC, it will offer in options, using it: Select "Profiles Management". It will appear news buttons, one for each profile (Max: 5), by clicking on a profile button, you change base and will work with profile database. After that, whatever the profile for each backup or delete, it will ask you which profile to make the backup or deletion. That is, testing without moderation ... - BLKMGK - 2010-06-06 Having a very hard time using this tool but I see potential. I'm on Win7 with an Ubuntu XBMC install. I have managed to scrape the movie info via WEB although it locked up pretty good the first time through. When I attempt to edit a movie it wants access to the NFO file and therein lies the issue. All of my movies are stored on NAS file servers. I generally access them with UNC naming like \\servername\share and NONE of the dialogs I am presented with allow for this. Worse, I have mapped those shares to drive letters (ick) and your dialogs do NOT show those either. When I attempt to type in the drive letter by hand it tells me the drive doesn't exist - explorer sees it fine. Editing the NFO file isn't really what I want, I want to correct the data in the XBMC database. Despite having CORRECT NFO files in my movie folders XBMC has insisted on scraping movie titles for some movies - and the titles are WRONG. I was very much hoping to solve this with your tool accessing the native database but as of this time I cannot see any way to do that. The multitude of French dialogs isn't helping I'm afraid. I know that this isn't the native language for this tool but as an English speaker it compounds the issues I'm afraid I appreciate the effort for sure, just cannot quite get there. Using different dialog types for the windows used to get to the files would be helpful... - Vincent81 - 2010-06-06 Hello, For access to XBMC on another computer, it is better to go through the XBMC HTTP server by filling the fields IP, login, password in XBNE. I don't understand why you can not enter the network paths in XBNE. I also W7 with several networked PC at home and it works very well? Try with "debug" mode and look file "debug.log" in XBNE directory. |
