slash Wrote:Hi,

I think I fixed the watched / unwatched issue with MySQL.

As I'm planning to release 1.9.4 with more fixes, you can download the patch from here :
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xumm/files/Patches/include.js/download

Instructions : replace /XWMM/movies/include.js by the one downloaded.
Also even if you are not using MySQL could you test the patch to make sure it doesn't break anything Rolleyes

Let me know if it works.

Just tested this patch and it looks like it's working! (I'm running MySQL on Lucid Linux)

I have recently started using XVMM and I find the concept great.
I started by using it to create movie set's. while Im able to create the set I can't mange to add the the sort title, nor am i able to do any input or editing of data. no add trailer URLs, or edit anything. this is true also in the music and the TV section.

what did I miss??

I use win7 on asrock ION 330HT, I have tried FF/explorer/chrome

thanks for the help

I have the same problem.
Running XBMC on Win7 machine.
Trying to edit url for trailers. I press save.. the progess bar appears "updating movie info".
But if i click another movie, and click back to the one i edited, the URL i added is gone.

Could you post tour xbmc.log in debug mode when doing these changes (via pastebin)
Thanks

thanks for the extensive description.

It appears that the adding of a movie to a set is automatically saved and you don't have to push the save button which is still greyed out. Just for my curious mind...I went the hard route and created a folder for my first collection then moved all the files to that folder and created a .nfo file for each title per the SET wiki instructions using the SET tag. Next I created 3 more set folders and moved the appropriate movies into the set folder then went into xwmm and created the sets then added the movies.

I expected to see some .nfo files with those 3 sets but there were none...OK..how do you do it? There must be a database field for set name. Final question...I didn't really have to create folders for the movie sets did I? The only thing I lost was the watched tag but that's a quick fix and having the movies in a set is neater especially with things like James Bond where the movies are all named differently.

Thanks for all your effort!

Sorry to ask, but how do i get my xbmc.log from debug mode, and how do i go to debug mode? ..... If this question is to dumb just scream at me and i will be quiet.

Btw. i love this web interface, keep up the good work.

Movie Sets are very time consuming, can you make it so that if you type in a movie set that does not exist it automaticly creates it?
This will take out a step of selecting create movie step, and just make it autosave like it already does.

Also is there a way to selct multiple movies to add so that its not done one by one?

edit:
maybe even a creat movie set from current selction button at the top?

So if i have National Treasure seclected, it will make a movie set called "National Treasure" and add the selected one. Then we just need to select\add the rest of the set.

You need to enable debug mode in XBMC (settings -> system)

Your xbmc.log file is in the user directory. Copy / paste it with http://www.pastebin.com

Added to the feature list. Will look into it when the current bugs / issues are fixed.

On my first attempt at adding a collection I thought I was going to be able to bring up a list of movies right next to the collection name in a popup...just a logical UI step. Now...if you really wanted to impress us you would see the collection name of "James Bond Collection" then query a list of James Bond movies from IMDB and cross reference that to the XBMC DB for what movies we have then add them to the collection.Smile I'm glad I'm still not too old to have dreams.

watched & sets are showing properly now. thanks /

slash Wrote:The fanart and covers should be in the user directory, under userdata/Thumbnails.

Could you post (via pastbin) the xbmc.log file for each machine ?

it is, i use cron & rSync to keep both boxes's cache in sync. XWMM is looking for tbn files that don't exist in my cache

i turned on debug for both machines, restarted & hit XWMM from each. as expected -thanks to mySQL- the results are identical ... ( localhost / ion.HTPC ).

in pulling this together, i *think* i figured it out... XWMM fails to get cover/fan-art for all movies in a RAR stack. it works for everything that is just movie.avi or a file-stack (stack://something.cd1.avi, something.cd2.avi)

as seen in XWMM > movies > other details
  • WORKING: a typical movie
    • name: A Wind Named Amnesia.(6FCB747D).mkv
    • directory: /mnt/homeNAS/movies/A Wind Named Amnesia/
  • NO COVER/FAN-ART: RAR stack
    • name: rar://%2fmnt%2fhomeNAS%2fmovies%2fArtificial%2eIntelligence%2eAI%2e2001%2favs720%2daiai%2erar/avs720-aiai.mkv
    • directory: /mnt/homeNAS/movies/Artificial.Intelligence.AI.2001/

let me know what you think /
cheers

Sorry of this question has been raised but searching for an answer has been unsuccessful.

I am running latest version of XBMC.
Installed 1.9.3
Followed the set up instruction.

But when trying to log in it says "file not found"

Checked the addons directory and files are there. Any solution?

By saying "I followed the setup instructions" do you mean you went to settings and selected xwmm as your default web interface <or> you sim-linked xwmm in your default web interface directory?

Hi zosky, Happy New Year.

Yip I went into XBMC network settings and changed default sever to XWMM.
