Thanks. I want to try it and not mess with my sad yet. I assume I need 2 USB disks then, one for installer and one for installation? Would make sense but have only one here at this moment.

No you only need one. One way to do it would be to use the built image that is available on their site. I think it is for beta1. Then just have the system auto update. So download the image to your PC. Use usbimagetool to then write it to your flash drive.

If you can't get the image then there are instructions for building the image in the HD installation discussion that is on their forum. You basically use the same tool that you use to build a "patchstick" for the ATV.

Just saw this thread and seems like this is a great idea. I was just wandering if sickbeard and sabnzbd are compatible with this at all? Cheers

Thanks. Just to be sure: I can already install and just update openelec later when final is our (or rc4) and that will update xbmc as well right?

I'm having issues with the following:

-Zotac HD-I11 - video sound works, but sound menu doesn't work still, despite doing the work arounds listed. Also, ethernet is REALLY slow on this. Not sure why...it's going like 1-2MB/sec, then when I boot to Windows, I get 10+

-Lenovo Q110 - ION (1st gen). Menu sounds work, music sound works, but video sound makes some weird noise for 1 or 2 seconds then goes silent.

My MCE remote repeats too fast. When scrolling movies, I can't follow the titles att all.
Is there an option to slow down the repeating of my MCE remote?

I added <remoterepeat>800</remoterepeat> to advancedsettings, but this seems to have no effect at all Sad

Both are sending nzbs to sabnzbd in order to download new stuff.

To keep it simple:
Sickbeard is a python-based program which looks for new releases for your TV Shows. You control it via a webinterface and can add shows there. SB will then look on the specified nzb-indexes for new releases in the specified quality.

Couch Potato is a pythin-based program which looks for new movie-releases. You can add movies via a webinterface and CP will start looking for them on the specified nzb-indexes in the specified quality.

Long story short: You would have to have python, cherrypy and cheetah support in order to get it running.

(P.S.: Just explaining. I didn't took a look inside your distro yet, but it looks promising and I wouldn't mind missing SB and CP.)
