I save this with google closed terminal but it won't connect to local host do I have to leave terminal open Once you close terminal, it closes the program (it's just like closing an app). The way to keep it running after you close the window is to do Code: nohup python sickbeard.py & - paul elder - 2011-07-19 Up and running with sickbeard I using eztv rss which seems to be working ok - mattressfish - 2011-07-19 I dunno if this is a good suggestion or not, but I'll put it out there... What if there was an (OPT-IN) option for Sickbeard to (anonymously) post wanted episodes to the Sickbeard website. Something like (but prettier): Big Brother US - S04E10 - 123 Wants If there was a good dataset, tv cappers could look at it to get shows that people really want. The biggest complaint I could see would be the privacy issue, but if you're already using the Sickbeard search provider, your IP is already known. And as long as it was off by default... It would allow people like me, who have no real worth other than the occasional donation, to assist the TV "scene" by providing feedback. - darkscout - 2011-07-19 The "scene" is completely separate from sickbeard development. Sickbeard doesn't have a single search provider, it uses nzbmatrix, nzbrus, etc. You could try a request there. - thezoggy - 2011-07-19 mattressfish Wrote:I dunno if this is a good suggestion or not, but I'll put it out there... no one is stopping you from posting things on torrents / usenet. generally 'we' don't want p2p stuff posted since people don't name things correctly or follow 'standards' it only causes headaches for everyone else that use automation tools. and then finally there are legal things involved with distribution of copied tv shows.. some places it's illegal and some its legal.. for most its just in a gray area until you get to channels that require pay access like HBO/Cinemax/etc or PPV. - mattressfish - 2011-07-19 darkscout Wrote:The "scene" is completely separate from sickbeard development. Doesn't mean that people couldn't use SB as a possible data point for how useful the hours they spend capping are... And what's the Sick Beard Index then? - thewarm - 2011-07-19 therionate Wrote:Hi all, for those who want Sabnzbd to work in OpenELEC, wait a little bit longer and a preconfigurated add-on with SAB, Sickbeard and Couchpotato will be available in RC6. Looking forward to giving this a shot. Will there be a "Fusion" build? Thank you. - mattressfish - 2011-07-19 thezoggy Wrote:no one is stopping you from posting things on torrents / usenet. generally 'we' don't want p2p stuff posted since people don't name things correctly or follow 'standards' it only causes headaches for everyone else that use automation tools. With my idea, it would only show 'wanted' episodes for however Sickbeard wants to name them (based on thetvdb.com, I assume). However other people name the episodes shoudn't matter. That problem exists now. How would posting 'wants' change that? - Reginald - 2011-07-19 Is anyone else having issue with Wilfred (US)? I can't seem to get SB to keep up, TheTVDB has up to 6 eps available but I only show the first 4 (the last two I have downloaded manually) this is occurring on another SB install I have done. I checked it is using the correct TheTVDB ID. I get this when I force a full check: Code: Jul-19 17:12:22 DEBUG CP Server Thread-6 :: sickbeard.db: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tv_episodes WHERE season != 0 and episode != 0 AND (airdate != 1 OR status IN (4,3276804,204,404,3204,1604,104,804,2,3276802,202,402,3202,1602,102,802,9,3276809,209,409,3209,1609,109,809,6)) AND airdate <= 734337 AND status != 7 Thanks in advance! Thanks! - HenryFord - 2011-07-21 mattressfish Wrote:That problem exists now. How would posting 'wants' change that? No, it doesn't exist for sickbeard, since sickbeard doesn't download anything from the usenet at all, but only nzbs, think of nzbs like link-collections. mattressfish Wrote:Of course its separate. Doesn't mean that people couldn't use SB as a possible data point for how useful the hours they spend capping are...It's simple, really: SickBeard doesn't download from Usenet, SickBeard won't post to Usenet. Quote:And what's the Sick Beard Index then?An indexing site for the usenet, think of it like Google for Usenet. But again - it doesn't provide downloads from the usenet but only nzbs. - mattressfish - 2011-07-21 HenryFord Wrote:No, it doesn't exist for sickbeard, since sickbeard doesn't download anything from the usenet at all, but only nzbs, think of nzbs like link-collections. Maybe I'm not explaining myself very well. No where did I suggest that Sickbeard post or download things from Usenet. - HenryFord - 2011-07-21 No, I think you explained well enough, I just misread: You want to post wanted but missing episodes to the sickbeard-website to a list, not the usenet itself. So that people can make use of this list and (if they are available) post the appropriate episodes to the usenet... Did I catch that one correct? I got a little bit confused with the answers - mattressfish - 2011-07-21 HenryFord Wrote:No, I think you explained well enough, I just misread: That's it. Seems like a useful enough idea... |
