This is running the build you sent me the other day.

PS: Updated URL.

pastebin is empty Smile
nm, net must be very slow.

Also, not sure if this is related or not, but I'm noticing on both Mac mini's I'm running XBMC on, if it's been running for a day or so (sitting idle), when you come back to play something, it's reporting a failure to initialize the audio driver.

Let me know if you need anything else. I'm all set to upload as many logs and perform any tasks you want for the next few hours.

Only thing I see here is;

Quote:ERROR: CCoreAudioDevice::SetHogStatus: Unable to set 'hog' status

if we can't set hog mode, passthrough will fail which it does. Normally you can't set hog mode if something else has already grabbed it.

The machine is a default Mac mini running OS X Lion. It's dedicated to XBMC. There should be nothing else running on it other than default related software.

Any ideas?

As for the latest test build, I'm running the Dec 30th build you posted for me. Is there another (compiled) test build you want me to try?

Has it been updated? That's the version I'm already running. I was running Eden-Beta1 and switched to the one in post #132. It even shows a Dec 30th build in the debug log.

#125 was built and posted on 12-30
#132 was built and posted a few days later, it does have the same git #, to change that I have to do full rebuilds. But the code handling is different.

OK, my bad. I confused post #125 with post #132 (didn't realize there were two builds to test). I just got home, so I'm going to try the new build and I'll let you know the results. If it is still broken, I'll turn on debugging and try it again and post the log.

Here you go: http://pastebin.com/G0Wp4HRe

I turned on debugging and rebooted the machine.

I then played 2012.mkv (an uncompressed HD Bluray rip). It worked in 24P, didn't play slowly, and receiver showed DTS audio.

I exited the movie.

I then scrolled up and down a few times in the movie listings, audio from the skin was coming out the Mac's internal speaker.

I then restarted 2012 again, this time the receiver went to All CH Stereo mode, 24P, but was playing at 4 frames per second (slow motion), with no audio.

The debug for this entire session is above in the pastebin.

Very interesting. I have noticed the same (4 frames per second with no audio) play if after playing a movie, I then play any internet stream (eg. sportsdevil). It doesn't occur with me if I replay that or any other movie from the library.

davilla,

Additionally, I've been meaning to tell you this, ever since I started using the pre-11.0 through Eden builds, I've noticed that I have to kill XBMCHelperApplication after exiting XBMC to copy a new version of XBMC over the existing. Should that process die after exiting XBMC? Is that normal to have to kill the process to load a new version of software over the old when the main program isn't even running?

Please ignore the directory errors also. I'm in the middle of moving over 6TB of TV Series from one volume to another. I started that this morning.

depends if you have it set to stay alive or not.
